B: Rampe Rance Frawley
HB: Docherty Talia Shaw
C: Coniglio Dangerfield Hannebery
HF: Ziebell Franklin Riewoldt
F: Betts Kennedy Lynch (GC)
R: Goldstein Shuey Martin
I: Bontempelli Gibbs Pendles Tippett

Unlucky: Parker, Treloar, Viney, Naitanui, Waite, Shiel, Merrett, Neale, Tarrant, Sloane, Dalhaus, Zorko, Selwood, Guthrie, Motlop, Mitchell, Riewoldt, Gawn, Ward, McGovern, Lynch, S Johnson, Zaharakis, Rioli
He butchers the ball way to often and wouldn't be anywhere near AA for me yet, but he very well could be come end of year if he finds some dramatic improvement which he is capable of.

Talking about Bont not Lewis Taylor. Bont has a lovely long raking left foot which is pin point, penetrating and accurate.

Hasn't done enough so far this year. Maybe by the end of the year though if he continues to improve.

lewis taylor? never once did i bring up lewis taylor lol, Bont has a good long kick but he very often shanks short passes, his kicking is overrated in my view, like Daniel rich he has a very good long kick yet just an average mid range kick.

On another measure Robbie Gray is actually rated as your best player. He just hasn't played as many games to accumulate as much points but his per game average is high.

And Pittard made their team of the year after round 9 (but was knocked out after rd 10)

the 3 'new' tough gun midfielders of the competition are: cripps, viney and bontempelli.

personally i don't think any of them has done enough to get into the AA side but of the 3 cripps has had the best season. viney and bontempelli have both been up and down. cripps is leading the league in clearances and has been ultra consistent.

i am definitely biased but that doesn't mean i'm wrong....

He's played three good games yet gets a gig over guys like Viney and Steven who have been consistently good the majority of the season?

Agree completely. Would struggle to make the squad.

I'm not sure I agree with this. His skills were horrific on the weekend but generally he's one of the guys we want with ball in hand. He can blaze away a bit when he sees no options forward but that's not really "butchering" the ball. He's not an elite user of the pill but your assessment is harsh for mine. Production this year hasn't been consistent nor good enough to justify an AA selection as yet, but skills aren't the reason for it.

ye probably used the term harshly, I meant it as he can pull off shockers of a kick but is usually very good.

Thoughts?

Priddis nowhere near it this year.

Sheppard would have to improve to match the other contenders in my opinion. Slow start to the season.

Gaff's also not been at his best but I think by the end of the year he'll be right up there

Same as mine to be honest however...
Whats your reasoning for having Bont in front of players like Parker, Neale, Ward, Treloar whom I would say have played much better footy, his past month has been great but prior he has been pretty down.

I saw him have some horrendous kicks on the weekend in open space against the Pies. This "bont is the best kick in the AFL" myth that perpetuates big footy also baffles me.

You're the worst. Just let it go mate. Everyone knows you rate Cripps over the Bont. We get it!

It would baffle you, you have appeared to just make that myth up to suit yourself.
