Geez could find a dozen better spots to get involved in heavily I reckon. Genuine guess work at the best of times how a 2yo filly will come up as a 3yo but one who has only ever won against the dregs in Queensland and flopped at its only run in Sydney seems very much just watch and see.

Issue or not from its last run it went poorly just like everything else out of that MM race

Happy to watch Skirt The Law without bagging it until it has another run. the last run it was gone after 200m so there was obviously something amiss. It does seem a dodgy Magic Million though but all the 2yos last year were trash.

Won twice on soft as a 3yo still. Can't see it getting wet enough to make up the difference in class for two others

Not sure on what earth Carini is $5.50 in R5 Caulfield tomorrow - it should be 50/1 over 1400 - not only is it a French slowie its about half a mile short of its best trip. Dubai Poet is a furlong better horse than it and is $8!

Don't usually like taking the Euros over these shorter trips out here but Dubai Poet is a decent bet each way for mine. Form is easily good enough for a BM84, the favs map to end up out the back, Carini is taking up a ludicrous amount of the market, was given a hard hit out in his trial so should be ready to go first up and the same connections have good recent form with Euro runners out here
