I think everyone knows Perth doesn't rain in summer. But outside of the Perth team's games, it doesn't solve a problem. You can't fly a Sydney vs Melbourne based game to Optus stadium on short notice because it's raining, and realistically you can't base a competition out of Perth alone because it might rain.
