Information from an ex Carlton player who now resides in Adelaide. The Gibbs deal was all done last year intil Ricuitto came in at the last minute and put a stop to it. This obviously upset Gibbs and he now has stated he would rather go back and play for Glenelg than the Crows.

PORT Adelaide will have to up the ante in their flirtation with Tom Rockliff. The biggest free-agent in the game has still not accepted Brisbane’s offer and the Lions are starting to resign themselves to losing their former captain. They will not enter a bidding war so the ball is definitely in Rockliff’s court. Port have been the 2014 All Australian’s major suitor. However, Carlton have entered the game in recent days.

following up from this the 2 front running clubs for Stringer are the bombers and cats.
Bombers are offering 600k not sure on trade assuming a straight swap for their 1st but who knows with dodoro
Cats are offering 500k and offering Stanley and pick 20
Cats are more likely at this stage.
Source is someone who knows Stringer
