I want us to put everything into this game.
Even 3 qtrs similar to first QTR against the Dees and we probably get the win.

Essendon are no where near as good as the Demons.
Our grand final this week. Cunners deserves a special effort from all. Clarko needs to use this.

I wish I could say we'd have an old fashioned North-against the odds victory for Cunnington like the good old days, but I've had that feeling a number of times this year only for this group to decimate any confidence I have in them. That, and * have owned us for years and play like it's their GF.

Young midfielder George Wardlaw will look to prove his fitness later in the week,

Wardlaw was subbed out of the Round 18 clash against Hawthorn prematurely after straining his hamstring in a tackling effort during the second term, and has been sidelined since.

North Melbourne head of performance Kevin White says he's now "tracking well" after being exposed to a main group training session last Thursday.

"George absorbed a footy conditioning session over the weekend and will freshen up in the early part of this week to put him in the best position for game availability this weekend," White told NMFC Media.

We can't even tell them to 'just win it for Cunners' because they don't know the first thing about winning.

We can't tell them to 'just put effort in' because they put in effort last week and were brought undone by fitness and errors, for the sixteen billionth time.

What do we say? Stay present and stop retreating into your own heads when things get tough?

I like the idea of farewell games and expect every North fan who can make it to be there but Jesus. R24 needs to hurry the **** up

Feeling after the video he’s about to have his best game for the year.

LDU might just be ready to do the same..

Goldy to wind back the clock for his old mate;

Jy to chuck a blanket over Merrett;

Thomas to be on the receiving end of some classic Cunners magic; and

Wardlaw (please) and Sheez to show Cunners the club is in good hands.

Wardlaw might be the super-sub this week. Rip the game apart in the 4th with no concern of fatigue.

Comes on for Cunners.

Its quite hilarious that both Jack and Cunners entire careers took place within Essendon's finals drought, and they actively contributed to it in 2014.

Cunners can go out and hit blokes hard with no threat of suspension

Look out!

Straight k/o on some bomber druggies
I doubt that he will though. He doesn’t need to go out that way and I think it’s not how he’d want to be remembered. We know he’s as tough as a $2 steak so he’s got nothing to prove. I’m hoping he’s on the ground when the final siren goes off, and when he looks up at the scoreboard he sees his wife, kids and a bunch of fans standing to clap him, and through the tear in the corner of his eye he sees the score showing his team in front. But even if we don’t win, he will go out of the game as a respected hard man and an ornament to the game.

Well said.

Prefer he k/o‘s Stevo to be honest. The exact antithesis of everything Cunners stood for.

Hopefully in the first minute so we can sub him out straight away.
