Yep.

And I dunno, maybe need to watch the replay. I knew he didn't get much of the ball (why no bronx cheers for him, like some supporters give bling?) but he got dropped for his poor defensive efforts didn't he? Thought he was alright in that area.
Nahas was OK just didn't do the things he was brought in to do. Hisdefensive pressure is usually his strngth but he was lacking there.

out
griffiths (shoulder)
nason (conc)
nahas
jackson (if susp)
IN
cousins
Mcguance
Hicks
Tambo

hicks seem to be playing well so give him a run. can tdo any worse then nahas last night

bring mcguane back in and move astbury up forward to cover for the lost of griff

Let Tambo get some form at Coburg.

If he is part of our future plans then his confidence is being destroyed game by game.

Seems like the bloke who would really take last weeks bronx cheer to heart.

I want him to succeed and relegation can really work for a player.

Dropped : nahas IN : Cousins
Inj : Griffith IN : Goo, Post ( who performs today )
if Inj :
Edwards ( knee ) : Bling
suspended :
Jackson : Polo , Morton ( todays form )

People suggesting more small undeveloped players , obviously didn't take much notice how often Nahas got knocked off his feet and allowed unpressured disposals out of our forward line , something we haven't allowed happen for the past 4/6 weeks !!

i saw it. it was horrible.
agree with barnzy on everything. that hurt.
If you say it was horrible then I guess it was, the point is you don't drop a bloke for making one mistake like that, if we did then Cotchin is out this week as well.

Bit of a ordinary sly dig at Cotch there RW , noticed you haven't included him to often , when most others have , in your best players, reason ?

tipping Luke gets another week. ITs all about team balance.
Griff out inj means that we might see Goo get a gig, but I would be tipping DH will opt for experience in Polak to keep the roos BL on notice.
Cuz is 1000-1 on to come in as well.
Also tipping that Nase might yet come up for the game too.
Out of left field tip for an in - Sanchez.;)

No reason just feel that other players have been better when I give votes.

out -Griffiths Nason (injury) Nahas (omit)

Astbury Forward

in- one of McGuane/Gourdis to the back half Tambling and Cousins to return from injury.

Anyone else see Edwards slip on the turf as if it was ICE!!! Thats when he slightly hurt his knee thank **** he was running in a straight line and not doing a lateral movement because it could have been worse.

If Post has a good one for coburg he should come in for Griffiths. And depending on the result today there might be 1 or 2 more changes.

Yeah I saw it looked pretty bad, docklands surface is very dodgy. Hopefully just jarred it!

Yea and I'll tip for that reason I'll tip him to miss this week and may even need a clean out, those sort if actions can allow the player to continue playing but pull up extremely sore !!

how does the team balance work when a forward is replaced by a defender?

I assume he's working on the assumption that Astbury will go forward to replace Big Bad Bandaged Ben Griffiths.

Out: Griffiths (made of straw), Nason (blind)
In: Gourdis, Cousins

looks like drew will be out next week for kangas. just hurt in knee i think in game today

no way will king be dropped he is way in front of nahas give him a brake fukc me he does play for richmond and does have a go not like some

Reported on Sports Tonight that Griffiths shoulder isn't as bad as first thought, still I rather him have a few weeks off while Post/Gourdis get a run and then come back for the last month.

King started on Hill not Ballantyne and then after he was getting slaughtered and Hill was dominating us he got moved off him. He was played as a midfielder who roamed forward and after Hill it seemed like he moved on Pearce and others who he just rotated onto at stoppages. Ballaytne played up forward and was minded at times by Farmer, Moore and others. They had a couple of incidents where they met in the middle but they played at opposition ends of the ground so thus he can't take any credit for shutting him down.

King giving away a free in the middle by whacking Ballantyne while Connors was lining up for goal nearly cost us the match. Was very undisciplined tonight and he got little of the ball, when did (besides one high kick to the top of the square that set up a goal with Riewoldt taking a massive pack mark) he made poor decisions and butchered it. Has to be dropped. Was easily the worst player in our team if you exclude the injuries to the 2 kids and people who defend him are probably just doing it because the win glossed over his performance.

Did you even watch the game barnzy? or did you just conjure that up from you bias imagination. King played on hill in the first quarter and hill had about 2 touches. King was then sent to half forward to play a defensive role on rodger hayden because the dockers were getting overlap run, this where king he stayed for the rest of the match.

King was average today but if you watch the afl.com.au replay you will hear Gerald Healy saying ever since the first quarter the game was being played on the tigers terms, 1 on 1. this was a direct result of king on hayden stopping the fremantle overlap.

Dont believe me then watch it yourself. I just did. Average yes, worst player far from it.

Did you even watch the game barnzy?

Yes.

Live and then on replay as I recorded it on IQ.

Okay. Who was worse on our team? I said he was the worst on our team by a fair way if you excluded the injured players, not the field. Even you admit he was average, well I say poor. Undisciplined, didn't get enough of the ball and when he did he made bad decisions and butchered it. If there was any reasonable players at all in the VFL today, I would drop him a heartbeat. King is just a role/bit player, a foot solider, etc. Easily replaced and won't be around in 2-3 years when we're up and about, would prefer to get games into someone that will.

so you would agree that you were mistaken or purposely tried to mislead others in saying that king was moved off hill after he was getting "curved up". undisciplined no, does 1 undiscplined act make a player undiscplined. If so then i could pick at a number of them. first comes to mind is jackson on belantyne. "made bad decisions" agian i just watched it so who are you trying to fool. "butchered it", skills werent precision but far from butchering, ive seen him butcher a ball before and that wasnt butchering. bit role agreed, wont be around in 2-3 years agreed. so you say that king is just the best of the worst on our whole list atm, oh well he just might play his 50th next week. not bad for a bit player. oh worst players lets see i think....nahas but austbury, vickery werent great either.
