Hopefully we can start putting teams away when we get on top.
In a lot of games we get 12-20 points up and the game just balances there for a bit. Be nice to turn those into 40+ point wins.

To be fair, it would be a nice change of pace for us to not concede the first goal or two. I just had a look, and we haven’t kicked the first goal of a game since we played gws. We’ve played 7 other games since then, and conceded heavily against the pies, port and demons to give up 20+ point leads. Our ability to fight back and win 2 of those games and hit the lead late in the other has shown great spirit, but I don’t think it’s the way we want to be playing.
The North scoreline flattered us. That was the only part of the match that didn't reflect a complete smashing.

Yeah we were out of the north game for the entire match. It was putrid.

But that's the thing, we find away to keep the scoreline looking better than it really should be and that keeps us in matches that we previously would have been blown away.
Our defense has really held us in great stead. Don't worry about point scored against, its the best in the league.

We never play well in Tasmania though - even the 92-94 teams did not do well there. Probably something to do with the putrid weather conditions?

I don't know whether this is a good or bad thing but Matthew Lloyd on Talking Footy last night said that he could see the WCE v Collingwood final being the only final where there could be a blowout (our way). Hope he is right as then my nerves can relax, as I have tipped us to win by only 1 point!

I'd rather expose Allen to a final, I reckon he's gonna be a star. Fantastic hands and can play forward or back. His work against Claremont was fantastic. Sheed is way to slow to be given minutes on the wing against Collingwood. Hutch needs his midfield rotation time anyway to run with Sidebottom. I'd split Sheeds minutes on the wing between Rioli, Cripps and Venables.
