They won’t postpone, and that’s frustrating but not really an issue if that’s the line they hold. This is what the top ups are for. I know it sucks for us but it’s bad luck, don’t mind a show must go on attitude.

The issue comes in if they don’t postpone this but do postpone something in future. No problem with a “no postpone and play an entire team of top ups” policy if that’s the line they’re drawing.

As usual, you are spot on. It sucks that we are the first heavily hit team (befits 2022 thus far really ), but the show must go on. If there is a postponement in future however… I would hope all hell breaks loose from the club to be honest.

Am aware the AFLW is separate and understandable, but yeah, the top up system is in place for the AFL.
