Ahhh Vader now feeling he's validated about his insane Fog beliefs.

You love to see it.
He's not completely wrong. Fog is an accurate kick (the most accurate in the comp) but he offers nothing else, not even a contest. Where Vader does cross the line is suggesting that Frampton is a better option.

Accepting that Billy/Berg is a bad combination (but no worse than Billy/Fog, and better than Fog/Berg)

Given Murphy laid 13 tackles and has some sort of intent to pressure in our forward line that selection is a no brainer given we haven’t got anyone else like that unfort
Murphy's being given a lot more mid time B4 he was injured .....is improving with each season, has a valuable left foot in the midfield ....and still only 22

Agreed... but it may, however, be the worst forward line we've ever had.
Agree .....most inexperienced FWD line ever .....with 3 x KPF's who are simply not ready to carry a big load in a match, but ideally 3rd talls ATM

But it is, what it is ......not having Tex has really shown up our Talls situation ......expect Murray to spend time up FWD

Still would like to see Frampton trialled as a KPD .....could go alright straight lining the ball

Looking at that forward line:
McHenry - 22 games
Himmelberg - 22
Murphy - 52
Pedlar - 1
Thilthorpe - 10
Frampton - 15

Total = 122 games (avg 20)

I doubt we've named a less experienced forward line since our debut season, back in 1991.

Compare that with our midfield group:
Sholl - 23 games
Keays - 61
Seedsman - 126
O'Brien - 52
Laird - 175
Sloane - 222

Seed, Laird & Sloane have each played more games than our entire forward line.

More reason why Sloane should be playing forward and not midfield.
Unfortunately, it is too logical for our coaches

Accepting that Billy/Berg is a bad combination (but no worse than Billy/Fog, and better than Fog/Berg), the question is what would have been a better outcome?

I'll work with the club's assumption that Lynch needs another go in the SANFL, to gain match fitness, so I won't consider him as an option.
Don't embarrass yourself.

Being on the same side of logic as our selectors is rarely something to brag about.

Just an extra forward going up to the stoppage but yep , does quite well in those scenarios . Definitely no star but given where we lack in our list he’s best 22 for now

He's building though Jeff ....still has potential growth

Frampton had a chance and failed, Fogarty had a chance and failed, now Frampton gets another chance, and Himmelberg gets one as well.

It's just shuffling deck chairs really, our future KPFs are likely to be Thilthorpe plus a surprise positional switch from a young player drafted as a key defender, unless we pull what's called a 'professional upper management move' and go tall in the next draft yet again.
