Suppose the Hawks hadn't burnt so many chances after HT and we suffered a narrow loss, who would we drop?
So we would have a forwardline then of Buku Lewis Naughty Lobb?Would love to get bus in somehow . Wonder if we would look at sending Buku forward and keeping Croft on the wing to open a spot for him
What makes you think his ability to sprint will come back over the next 2 weeks?Re Treloar, we all know he is an all Australian midfielder but calf injuries have let him down. If he can stay in shape over next couple of weeks he will get very close back to his best again. Let’s be patient before writing him off. I think he deserves a chance.
Lobb could be a utility rotating between backline ruck and forward line . I know it’s probably too much height but don’t think buku deserves to be droppedSo we would have a forwardline then of Buku Lewis Naughty Lobb?
Again we have to be ruthless here Buku is a depth player playing his role well enough however Buss is the future and the now it sucks Buku doesn't "deserve" it but thats top level football
Your Buku agenda is tiring. Ok you don't rate him. Going back to a performance from 2 years ago is funny particularly given we played against them at Adelaide Oval 6 weeks ago.Which ones Buku taking? We saw 2 years ago what Fogarty did to him
He’s got no hope on either 200cm+ bloke
I agree very much with this , but is this also the view of Bevo and the coaches and selectors? So we would have a forwardline then of Buku Lewis Naughty Lobb?

I think Buku is better as a 3rd defender, but Coffield is better at playing as an undersized no. 1/2 defender. Against Freo for example I thought Coffield was pretty good on Treacy even though he had 6 shots, whereas I don’t think Buku is suited to that role.Your Buku agenda is tiring. Ok you don't rate him. Whether you like it or not, Buku has improved. He is a better 3rd defender than Coff. He is more athletic, generates more intercepts, and can influence more marking contests when he is 3rd man up.
At the end of the day, neither of them should be dropped after Friday night. If Buss comes in we go in taller, otherwise he will wait another week. Changing winning team after that win seems unnecessary.
It may or may not. I just think he deserves a chance to show if he can over the next few weeks. What makes you think his ability to sprint will come back over the next 2 weeks?

But the starting premise of your post was that he will get back very close to his best over the next couple of weeks. That requires him getting back the ability to run at 100%, and now you’ve said that may or may not happen. It may or may not. I just think he deserves a chance to show if he can over the next few weeks.
If he does get it back it would be a big bonus for the team
He has a GPS strapped to his back, they know if he’s covering the ground better or notBut the starting premise of your post was that he will get back very close to his best over the next couple of weeks. If he can run at 100% he’s a top 10 player, but if he can’t he’s a defensive liability. He should be able to prove at VFL level whether he can go full tilt or not, and I don’t think we should be leaving out a better option while we wait and see if he can.
I’m aware players wear GPS, but not sure what point this is making or countering? He has a GPS strapped to his back, they know if he’s covering the ground better or not
What agenda?
I have said he is a solid depth player who would be unlucky to be dropped
The relevance of 2 years ago is the fact he still can't defend a genuine tall 1 on 1 which is what he will have to do
He averages 1.5 intercept marks a game this year Coffield averages 1.8 so no he doesn't
We won by 6 points and were dreadful in the first half so the notion that we should better our team because someone will be unlucky to be dropped is U9s level selection not AFL
) required.

Did you watch the VFL?
That is not true at all only the last 2 weeks since Buss is fit againYou do call for Buku to get dropped basically every week.
Busslinger averages half as many intercept marks as Buku despite being 3 inches taller and getting easier defensive jobs.
How exactly does dropping Buku to bring in Busslinger make us better?
So I have "NFI" suggesting dropping the player who is bottom 5 in the entire league in his position for 1 on 1 losses yet you know so much brining in a player who was poor in the 2s because he played a couple of good games to start the season?I am just going purely on what he can do, and that he's probably ahead of Gallagher.
You have suggested dropping Buku mate seriously you have NFI. Not saying he played super but the coaches aren't dropping him any time soon.
Busslinger 10 spoils per game? That is not true at all only the last 2 weeks since Buss is fit again
Buku also averages more then JOD who is also 3 inches taller almost as if intercept marks isn't the biggest stat to use for KP defenders
Here are the 2 main ones to look at:
1 on 1 loss percentage Buku 43.3% Buss 16.7% JOD 21.1%
Spoils Buku 5.8pg Buss 10pg JOD 7.9pg
Coff vs Buku for the 3rd tall/interceptor is the battle to be looking at and for mine and I would suggest a few in here Coffs form is currently better
