I'd argue that Narkle across 4 quarters would be more valuable than Dudley at the moment. The fact that he can go into the midfield is a bonus as well.

Narkle has consistently proven over his career to score less goals than the unfit Dudley has this season.

Where has the idea of Narkle being an actual forward actually come from? He's a midfielder first and has played a few forward roles at AFL level because he's not good enough to be a starting midfielder at AFL level.

He isn't a similar player to Dudley nor is he capable of being so. And everything said about Dudley is true btw.

I know his file has been stamped,but Brodie could still offer some grunt in the clinches ,getting that ball out to Serong,Young and co. It's not as if he is playing poorly in the WAFL, I personally think he is ahead of some of our other lesser likes. It was only a few years ago he was a revelation, you never know he may get back to that with a bit of confidence shown in him.

Because he doesn't always play as a small forward. Why are talking about goals? They aren't the same player. Nobody is saying Dudley is bad, it's more about 4 quarters.

Carlton feels like us in 2016. I can't imagine by this point they have much care factor beyond not getting injured and picking up the pay check. The KPFs are considering moves out, the Docherty love has been played out, and the coach has been left alone this week because of the focus on the Melbourne debarcle. I don't even imagine the umps have money on Carlton this week. I have been wary many weeks of low ladder teams, but this just doesn't seem like one of them.
