I can’t see anyone he would dislodge from freo team

If you want to add a player who runs towards the traffic and kicks blindly around his body, high and 40m down the line, then bring in Narkle. That's most of what I saw on Sunday. It could be argued he found space in congestion to swing onto his foot in a wet weather game where territory was more important than precision.

I think the most indicative stat regarding Peel's midfield display is that with Reidy, Brodie and Narkle having dominant games statistically...they won inside 50s by 3. Awful conditions so obviously you weren't gonna have many clean passages of play. But if you're winning contest convincingly, the territory game should (but didn't) follow.

Agree with Narkle. Seems to be racking up the possessions while playing mid. Alot of hack kicks to get it out of congestion, which is fine because of the rain and wet, but not sure it would translate to well if he came into the team

I'd argue that Narkle across 4 quarters would be more valuable than Dudley at the moment. The fact that he can go into the midfield is a bonus as well.

We don’t need him in the midfield. Already got enough cameo’s from Bolton, Jackson, JOM etc. Dudley is more dangerous around goal.

Yeah but Dudley seems to disappear. Don't get me wrong, I rate him. But it's Carlton and they win contested ball so the more fresh bodies you can throw into the contests the better. We are also patching the wing at the moment.

Do not want to see 18 behind points scores appear on the scoreboard next to our name again!

It undermines any confidence I have in us putting on a decent show in the Finals.

I honestly had believed those sorts of ridiculous behind numbers were in the past until last weekend where it was blatantly obvious that they can still be a part of our game.
