It was good win last week. Although I think we we got on top was when Hickey got injured, in most of our losses we got smashed in the ruck. I fear Goldstein is going to cause big problems. Just hope Trengove can limit his dominance.

This is our big chance to make one of those end-of-year statements that indicates we will be strongly in contention next year. Next week should be a comfortable win over Carlton (anything less would be a minor disaster) and Rd 23 will be a very big ask unless Richmond have already secured the top spot by then and decide to take it easy before the finals.

The problem is Norf know what's on the line this week and should come out with plenty of focus. They have a lot more to play for.

There are 3 games to go then there are 5 months of rest. Push through the rest of the season, get more games into the younger players which will only aid their development and move on.

The other group to play now are those 50/50 on keeping. Give them their last chance to show what they have to offer possibly in a different role.

Any players with a need for surgery that would limit their pre season get them in now and get the surgery done.

After this then the team that is left, play to win

“It's really important for us that Biggsy finds his best form at the level because he's been a significant contributor for us over the last few years.

Not convinced that necessarily holds after being selected and dropped again since it was written. With such a huge injury list, for Biggs to have been omitted Round 17 was pretty damning.

I could see us potentially retain him on the list for 2019 due to more pressing list turnover candidates though.

If I ran the world Biggs would be my first de-list. He have us so much in 16’ but he is not the same player and we have plenty of half backs on our list.

I find it frustrating that only squads are named for Sunday games, can't wait another day lol. I assume unless I'm missing the obvious that playing Sunday means another training session so possibly another injury but with now four emergency I don't see the need to not name 22 on Thursday night. If someone gets injured at Friday training then one comes in.
