Talented midfield prospect Matthew Johnson will make his long-awaited debut in Sunday’s RAC Derby, named as the tactical substitute.

last season we were 1win 1 loss at this point . The win by 1 point against Adelaide who finished 15th the year before .
This year we have 2 losses 1 by 1 point .
So we are talking about a 2 point turnaround , We need to find our form that is for sure but all is not lost.

Last year isn’t really a comparison. We only just scraped over the line against Adelaide in Adelaide and we were beaten by the Saints at home.

This year we were made look pretty hopeless against a Saints team that was arguably in worst condition than it was last year and then we got beaten, at home mind you, against North. NORTH!

If there was some indication that changes were being made to rectify the issues then I would feel more optimistic, but this is now the 3rd week in a row where there have been minimal to no changes to the obvious weakness in the club (the forward line in case it wasn’t clear).

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, we are r losing on Sunday, we’re losing on Thursday night. I fear, if this ship ever does get corrected, it will be too late. Hence, the season is a write off.

I saw that Sturt at wafl level last year, that's what happens when you're not injured

interesting , How would you assess last weeks Brisbane to week 1 and week 3 Brisbane?
Week 1 Port with week 2 Port ?
Week 1 Melbourne with week 2 Melbourne?
This season has not taken shape yet there are some sides already on two wins that will not win 10 games this year and some on zero wins that will surpass those teams .
This year more than ever is a long one 23 games this year compared to the normal 22 .
I prefer to make my assessment after 10 rounds have been played .

We just need more money to be put on West coast so they become favourites on Sportsbet and then we win !
