not sure if it is too early to discuss changes for next weeks game against the Bombers however here goes

Out - Maric
In - McKernan

Maric's form is well below par and the biggest concern is he just can't get off the ground, he has lost his leap

McKernan, the club is keen to have a look at him and given the fact we are playing the Bombers who are depleted in the ruck division may be the perfect game to debut SMACK

SMACK has the athletic ability to go with Ryder

Small for a tall IMO against the pace of the Bombers.

Maric/Moran - probably Maric for Reilly or Petrenko.

Why would we make any changes ????

Why cant we stretch tem like the Hawks

IMO Maric's form does not warrant selection however we need to maintain the same structure so if Maric is dropped we need to select a like for like player and given the fact Hille and Laycock are injured and Ryder is carrying the ruck it might be a good opportunity to debut SMACK

I don't mind if we remain unchanged with the 3 ruckmen.

So no changes for mine.

Symes was pretty good today.

No changes for me. Maric is struggling yes but having 3 ruckmen is working out nicely for us. Don't know if the AFC thinks McKernan is ready just yet.

agreed I think Symes spent a fair bit of time on Bateman who had no influence on the game

Symes name seems to be mentioned every week no mateer what

to be honest, i thought he spent a lot of time on the bench simply cos he wasn't sighted. if that wasn't the case then i'll retract

I would think that Craig will retain the structure that did so well against a good side in Hawthorn today.

The one area that would be under review IMO is the ruck.

Griffin had a hamstring strain - did he play this week, and if so how did he go?? Does he deserve promotion?

That might mean that Maric retains his spot in spite of his poor game today.

The only other alternatives would be to ruck either Sellar or McKernan, although they are genuinely that little bit short to be a regular ruckman IMO.

I did read somewhere that Griff did play however the report said that he did look restricted

I think having the 3 talls again would be a huge advantage against Essendon next weekend. Bellchambers went down for the Bombers tonight and may not be right for the match.

I don't think our team can match the bombers for pace so why not try and stretch them in other areas like height.
