The main training session is today so you'd think an announcement on whether Treloar is named will be this afternoon.

He does his Podcast every Tuesday night but it doesn't get uploaded until Wednesday night and by that stage the teams will have already been announced.

Bevo won't reveal if Adzy is playing I wouldn't think until they last possible second.

Also the possibility of him being named and then officially withdrawn an hour out from the game. Didn't that happen last year against Carlton?

I won't go too hard on Bailey if he misses the game, if you put aside your bloodthirst for a second, he's still a complex young man who clearly has his troubles. You'd hope he would be able to play but after the week we've had if there's a chance he isn't mentally up to it then you just accept it for what it is and focus on what you can control.
I agree Bald, it’s not actually Baz I am annoyed with, it’s Geelong and their sponsor Cotton On. I feel like he is a bit of a pawn to Geelong, and I am concerned about the pressure on his mental health.

If Geelong had fronted up and said yeah he’s a top 10 pick, we have been in his ear for 18 months, we know he has done his ACL, but because he is so meticulous in his training and preparation that won’t hold him back and he will be ready for 2025, especially as Baz wanted to play in the Hawthorn final, showing there was no long term effects from his ACL.

Instead of, na he’s damaged goods, we will give you a second round pick, and feed the Geelong friendly media to tell the Bulldogs to take it, than crow about it later. Mackie strutting around, he is arrogant now as he was as a player and he is not doing the Geelong football club any good, showing he is difficult to deal with after chasing other clubs players. The new Dodoro.

It’s just lucky we managed to get an extra shitty pick and turn that into Kennedy who is much better than expected, but that’s what good clubs do, they take average players and make them better.

I can't remember our side targeting an ex player under bevo? There's been the odd shove but nothing much more than that.
I hope there's no over the line stuff.

Mainly we cant detract from what has made our midfield the best in the comp, and that includes giving away stupid free kicks or someone getting reported.

Baileys biggest issue is coming back to bite him in the ass,

Bailey is actually a nice quiet person the problem is “Baz” is an egotistical me me me w***er who writes all the cheques Bailey has to cash, Poor Bailey doesn’t have the mental capacity to do this
He just has a lack of maturity / emotional understanding. He has been very well supported throughout his career at the Dogs, and I’m sure he is now at Geelong.

By the looks of things Geelong have given him the green light to stir, and will be there to protect him from any backlash, but he can’t expect there to not be consequences for his actions, whether that’s on field or in the media.

At the end of the day it’s all a bit of fun and I hope he plays, would be such an anti climax otherwise.

Bevo said on AFL360 last night, the boys are focusing on the game not Baz, they will consider him but only as a game piece to counteract. I actually thought Bevo sounded quite sympathetic towards Baz, he was one of his boys once.

You could say he has white line fever…literally and metaphorically.

Bevo handled it perfectly. So perfectly it was almost a put-down to those who are trying to pump it up. Bevo came across as a very thoughtful, totally professional coach. It was a masterful performance.

He’s been very complimentary of his form and glad he’s showing it after what he’s been through. He’s trying to temper things down if anything, but it won’t stop Libba from burying his head into the ground at some point on Thursday night .

Nothing to gain engaging the flog, let him waste energy trying to hype up the library crowd at GMHBA. I have a sneaky feeling though he'll go after the Bont as he views himself on his level.

Nah, f**k him

Churchillian comes to mind

Surprisingly, Sam Davidson is our most effective kick inside 50 this year (I suspected it might be Richards) with 26 kicks at 61.5% efficiency.

Makes sense why he was so effective as a high half forward last year in the VFL. Given we can rotate Harmes, Freijah and Truck through the wings I’d be letting Doc spend more time in the forward line.

Provides another foil for Naughton as a deeper target but also makes plays for others. Slowed down a little in recent weeks but what an awesome pick up he’s been.

I'll bet Smith is on a 'modified indoor program', purely to keep him away from the rolling maul that is the media. Whilst he craves attention, he wants to control the narrative of that attention. We know he has mental health issues, and I think both he and Geelong know this type of attention is detrimental to. him.

Well you would hope Geelong realises, I am not so convinced.
