Changes v Cats

Fremantle will welcome back Luke McPharlin and defender Antoni Grover for Sunday’s clash with Geelong at Subiaco Oval. However, goalsneak Hayden Ballantyne may be forced to endure another week in WAFL before stepping up to make his AFL debut.

Ballantyne was selected for the Dockers’ round 11 loss to Port Adelaide, only to become a late withdrawal when he suffered back spasms at training the day before the match.

Fremantle coach Mark Harvey said the 21-year-old, who was taken with pick No.21 at last year’s national draft, would have to pass a fitness test later in the week to be any chance of taking on the Cats.

“We have to be careful we don’t rush him in,” Harvey said today.

“We don’t want him breaking down.”

I wouldn't be surprised, judging by that, if Ballantyne doesn't play this week. There really isn't any need to rush him in after all, if he isn't 100% then don't play him. It would also give Walters another chance to impress.

And smkwd, while I do like him I'm not sure about having two Campbell's in the one team. :)
