I predict no change. If Bevo thought "Gardy" was pretty good then everyone else must have been brilliant.

We seem to be frustrated by the same things every season. Players being played out of position, unclear game plan, weird team selections. Then 6 weeks in, suddenly the team starts to switch on a bit, Bevo stops ******* around, and we scramble to try hit enough wins to scrape into finals.
Just once, I'd like a clear game plan, clear best 22 and a consistent season
Lloyd is the worst snapper of the ball I’ve seen. I don’t think he’s kicked more than 3 snap goals since he’s been at the club. Crameri come back!

Only trouble I see with that is Trengove is too slow to man any of the GWS talls. If we applied enough midfield pressure he could do well, if not he will get torched for paceMarshall kicked the goal too which is where his impact was felt more.
English definitely needs help soon. Right now, it's having serious impact on our ability to win games. He played well in the preseason game against Port, and that was against Lycett and Westhoff which aren't exactly easy opponents, but we haven't seen anything close to that performance since. Trengove needs to come in for Gardner this week or we have no chance
Naughton going back solves nothing. He’s still our best key forward and bringing Schache in is a massive downgrade.
Hard aggressive players need to be brought in.
Cordy, Libba, Trengrove, Wood (if fit) all need to be brought in.
id also give weightman a crack at the expense of Gowers/Lloyd. McLean is best 22. I don’t understand what he’s done to miss out.
Wood, Cordy, Williams
Crozier, Keath, JJ
Smith, Macrae, Richards
Lloyd, Naughton, McLean
Weightman, Bruce, Dale
English, Bont, Dunkley
Trengrove, Libba, Wallis, Lipinski
jong unlucky to miss but he’s not best 22. Vandermeer to get more chances down the track.
Dale, JJ and Lloyd on very thin ice.
What annoys me they had a whole preseason to get the Naughton Bruce combo working. So far fail....
Franklin at Pick 3 and Griffin at Pick 6, we would of got the dancing with the stars guy as a rookie pick.
In fairness, Naughton was injured for a lot of it. Not going to cut the boys slack for many things right now, but maybe for that.
Yep nailed it - not that invested to begin with, but Bevos persistence in not giving English support and playing Gardner over Trengove is. Taking. The. Piss. It's not even speculative.Beveridge either shows us he’s taking the season seriously this week with his selections, or I’m tuning out. It’s that simple.
If you’re legitimately trying to win a game of AFL football, you do not:
1. Not select trengove when going up against marshall and Ryder, when english has been smashed in his last few AFL matches.
2. Select gowers, Jong and vandermeer over Toby McLean and rhylee west.
3. Select Ryan Gardner over anyone.
If Beveridge is just going to take the piss and write the year off, I’m out.
I felt the opposite after the first 5 minutes. I thought we were on, and I think we would have continued to be had we converted. As a Bulldogs supporter, after supporting the club for many years you gain supernatural abilities. You gain the ability to tell if we are going to win or not within the first 5 minutes of the game. I knew on Sunday night that we were not going to win. But this weekend I am tipping us to win. Mainly because I am desperate for a win but also because I can just tell we are going to.
One thing I learnt about this team last year is if we miss shots 2-3 times in a row then we're f-ed. Their motivation is killed on the spot. There were very few exceptions.I felt the opposite after the first 5 minutes. I thought we were on, and I think we would have continued to be had we converted.
Instead, shots were missed, heads dropped and we unravelled very quickly. Which can happen with an immature side lacking in leadership - and exactly why we need to stop playing games at the selection table.
l would put Naughton back for a while
And bring in Schache
Puts pressure on Bruce
Who so far has shown nothing
And by making him the number 1 target
Could help his transition
What annoys me they had a whole preseason to get the Naughton Bruce combo working. So far fail....
Trying to fit cavarra in.
Well this really shows our lack of small forward talent.Out after hand surgery.
Shows how much dogs miss hunter and Cordy, and how heavy dogs rely on players like Crozier. You can easily tell from that and from the footage of both games that dogs aren't running hard enough to defend. Looks like there is a lot of unfit players in the team.Metres Gained: (Average Per Game A Two Round Autopsy)

Well that is a tale of woe perhaps a little unfair as not our finest two games ever, but as the wise man says "You are only as good
as your last game or games for some of them" hopefully this situation improves and a few players creep up towards the Metres
Gained Mafia status or 500.00 metres plus per game.
Looks ok, Stevo says Libba should be back so maybe hold Weightman for another week and put Naughton back.Fb keath cordy Williams

Tried to add cover in defence and ruck. Took out the guys less capable of the tough stuff and tried to keep in as much speed as possible
Shows the top two did a good job. Guess forwards like Wally are never going to rate highly in metres gainedMetres Gained: (Average Per Game A Two Round Autopsy)
