shaw was far less worrysome in the replay... henderson though - heck me he was atrocious...
if they dont give hendo a spell then they havent reviewed the game..he brought nothing...
and is now firmly entrenched as my 2104 whipping boy until he does something worthy of the jumper on his back...!
Hendo should be playing in the sanfl as badly out if form since his injury.

Selectors made a huge mistake not picking either kerridge or Laird instead... Who would have been far better match up on the likes of Martin.

Laird should not come in next week, unless its for the expense of brown or jaensch. Laird is a back pocket, and isn't tall, quick, smart or skilful enough to play as a permanent midfielder or forward at AFL level

Henderson should be dropped based on his performances, but will be maintained because there are double standards at selection at the AFC. Reilly will show more heart

Shaw is just useless, in every sense of the word

The three monster forwards makes us very slow. Pods had 3 touches in the second half (not good enough), jenkins hardly touched it (soft), and tex didn't get much of the ball either. Pods or Jenkins need to be taking big pack marks to validate their position, we can play a smaller more versatile player instead of them if they aren't, I'm sure they will be able to mimic pods little taps.

Kerridge and matt crouch should play. kerridge will tag, and m crouch will be useful as a left footer.

Assuming lynch is fit, pods or jenkins must go out, otherwise our coach is an embarrassment. If lynch isn't fit, then play a different forward line, there isn't a rule saying we must play three labouring forwards sando

Cameron doesn't look like it yet, has to be held accountable for performance, shouldn't get a game because he can run fast in a straight line

Out: pods/jenkins, henderson, mackay, cameron,
In: lynch (or crouch if lynch isn't fit), Reilly, Kerridge, thommo,

I'm disappointed with how much hate Shaw has received on this thread. I don't think he was as terrible as lots of people are saying and considering it's his first game in, well, how long? A while anyway, as a tall playing in wet conditions and contributing to a defence that conceded 10 goals and was under pressure from Richmond for the majority of the game, I hardly think he deserves some of the severe commentary that he's received on here.
I think people are more critical on Shaw because he really looks like a player except for one thing.

Unfortunately, that one thing is the fundamental skill of the game.

Assuming Lynch is fit ??? Are you effing for real he has a neck fracture !!!!

Thought he hadn't been ruled out? could he play with a small fracture?
Maybe with a finger or arm but not neck. He COULD maybe play a final should we make it but that black cat on the field last night...... escaped from his locker.

lol i knew we wouldn't win when the black cat entered the arena, it just summed up our whole year in the space of ten seconds, did it say on the coverage if it was a housecat or a ferrel cat?

Lynch has a black cat in his locker, and a ladder positioned in front of it that he walks under each morning lol

No he's not for real. He lives in a magic Bobbafett world of elves and fairys where players retire after their 29th birthday and Lynch get 3 Charlies every game.

mckernan>pods;)

those 'deft' taps. 3 touches after half time, says it all. Get someone in the team who can last a whole game

Yeah neck fractures to 2 vertebra is something he should/could carry through a game, play him this week I guess..
Obviously if he is injured badly he won't play, but he hasn't been ruled out by the club yet?

Doc lark ins said gunston would at best be 3 weeks, back in a week

After henderson played a SANFL game, and came back into the AFL side, doc larkins did an interview and said henderson was touch and go if he would make his return this week, and the crows would probably wait another week lol. Can you actually believe that?

Wont surprise me if he writes an article saying walters is close to making his WAFL return this week

Yeah seriously, cracked necks are for softies.
Back in my day we'd play after being decapated

Lynch has a neck fracture, he ain't returning this week.

Surprised there is little criticism of smith. He can't play midfield, and is really only useful as a loose man. Teams have figured him out the last month, make him play on someone, and he gets exposed for his lack of defensive ability.

Not sure why we don't just play 7 defenders, and do everything we can to free him up, thats when he's a good player

I don't know how to break this to you...... but......
I don't think you're going to see Lynch in a Crows jumper until next year..
That's if he doesn't ask for that trade because Pods is getting games ahead of him.. :p

Matt crouch should play, a left footer would add something different to our midfield, especially since grigg can't get a star in there

We may never see lynch in a crows jumper ever again, pods will still be needed to hold texs hand in 2015:rolleyes:;)

It is amazing how fremantle, hawthorn, geelong continue to play, and introduce young kids to the side, whilst they are top 4. And we continue to play our players who are old and a waste of time, and not blooding crouch, grigg (sub), kerridge should of played, siggins etc.

It just shows how they stay at the top, we hurt our development so we can maybe sneak into the 8 to make up the numbers. Smart coaching and list management

He never was required to hold Tex's hand.. ;)
Those 'deft' taps;)

Does pods know it isn't a crime to chase your opponent out of the forward line? Someone must inform him. Jenkins seems to have read the same law

Tex chases his ass off, when he should really be the only one who doesn't chase because of his long lay off
