Who else from the SANFL is available to go on the emergency list?

VB and CEY. With notable list of injured and returning from injury midfielders it wouldn't be out of the ordinary for them to have been Friday night outs instead of Thursday night.

To me it looks like we are trying to add a bit more
pace ( not lightning) into the side , seriously exposed last week

True, we could have listed them as emergencies. But the AFC seems to want to announce non-last-minute-injury outs on Thursday for Sunday games, as they have done for the entire season

After the spanking our mids got last week (Danger excused) we need to put all our energy into the midfield. Mind you we won't have Nic Nat to deal with. My biggest problem is how we deal with Wines, Gray and Boak? This is where the game will be won or lost.
Laird/Douglas v Gray
danger/Douglas v boak
Thommo/Lyons/crouch v wines.

Great to see Knight on the field
Matt Wright named on the bench may yet be cut!
I'm thinking (hoping) Jetts, Lyons, Pods with Rat as sub

Yeah, looks good on paper but our mids just aren't getting amongst the goals. Boak and Gray will hit the scoreboard.
Gray I would consider Laird for a soft tag.

Lever on Hoff when forward. Perhaps Smith when in the midfield?

Two talls on the emergency list seems a little pointless unless someone is a good chance of failing a fitness test, maybe Shaw is in to follow Westhoff around so we don't have to sacrifice Henderson to the task?

Him and Lyons in with Lyons the sub, perhaps
No comment on VB dropped?

Do you acknowledge that perhaps Tredrea didn't lie and VB only kept his spot because of the circumstances?

VB had to happen.

Really disappointed CEY is out. We've engineered his 'form lapse' by making him sub twice in a row.

Hope Atkins gets the nod.

Sam Shaw's resurrection continues!

I am suddenly reminded of the movie "No Retreat, No Surrender"

Don't be even more incredibly stupid than you've already been.

So do you think CEY was also going to be dropped for the Geelong game as well? He's out this week as well after all, so obviously he was also out two weeks ago, that makes total sense by your idiotic lack of reasoning.

Nothing at all to do with there having been another game since then, on which the form of both AFL and SANFL players has been judged.

CEY; why?

VB - thank Christ!

CEY might be a case of fitness and not performance. I wouldn't hold it against the coaches for trying to manage his game time if that's the case.

I'm just glad they've seen the light regarding VB!
