Ah, okay. I probably should have worked that out.oops, forget to add "find'
we will find out in 13 minutes.

No doubt he will and I'll agree with itI hate to break it to the Brodie Martin fans here, but he's going to be the first player delisted this offseason. Not the second or third. The first (Podsiadly will retire rather than be delisted). In fact, he's probably one of only 2 players on our entire senior list who are absolute locks to get the chop (Siggins is the other, although I guess if Otten or Shaw break in half again Siggins may get a reprieve).
Whether or not he gets a game this week is completely inconsequential.
CEY provides a height and mark in our midfield which is sorely missed. Not clear at all. I struggle to split all 3!
IN: Brodie Martin, Rory Atkins
OUT: Nathan van Berlo (omitted), Cam Ellis-Yolmen (omitted)

what the shit.... really.... didn't think Martin had been that great in the SANFL. But haven't been following it as much as last year, really need to get back to it.

. Still Wright survives ahead of Lyons…progress is slow.
But The Rat is in!!!
Yes Please!!!!Lyons punished for his lack of touches over the last two weeks.
It is hard to understand that we can't play Thommo, Matty Crouch and CEY in the 21 (or Thommo, Matty and Lyons) but we can play Wrighty. Isn't it worth a try to give either Thommo or Lyons a 4 week run in the mystical Wright role?
and who goes out: Tex, JJ or Lynch???
Don't you mean "The Ox is slow but the Rat is patient"
If there was any truth to that whatsoever he wouldn't be playing this weekend.I hate to break it to the Brodie Martin fans here, but he's going to be the first player delisted this offseason. Our injury list isn't massive, it's not as if other guys couldn't play ahead of him if we wanted to. If we'd penciled him to be our very first delisted player this off-season then he wouldn't be playing, it would be a wasted again - although we've done that in the past with Tambling.
His chances to remain on the list are unlikely I'd imagine but he's still some chance or he wouldn't be playing this weekend.
Hope he has a ripper.
For the record we offered Bling a rookie list spot which he declined. Agree Martin will 99% be delisted just wish he didn't cop those knee and hamstring injuries - was looking a very exciting pacy prospect. Love watching him play for the crows because he leaves it all out there. The Tambling incident is concrete evidence that we have a track record in giving games to certain delistees. And that was the final game of the season. And Tambling was fantastic that night.
Martin is playing in this game because the selectors believe that his attributes provide us with the best opportunity to win this game. It's team balance.
But look, I'm sure if he gets 3 Brownlow votes in every remaining game this season he'll earn another contract!
The dude is like 26 years old and hasn't yet played 40 games. It's over. Bookmark it.
For the record, I like the way Martin goes about it, and would never question his endeavour or character. He just isn't an AFL player. As I said, he's 26, he's been fit for the entire season, our list has been ravaged by injuries, and he'll likely end up playing 2 games for the season, both as sub. You just can't justify keeping a player of that age on the list at the expense of an 18-20 year old with potential.
