Predictions of hail for tomorrow night’s game.

So not a great night for full forwards. Thus expect Ken to drop Marshall for not kicking a bag.

Motlop out hopefully means Drew gets a better crack at it. Weather should mean ground ball gets important for our small forwards and bull midfielders.
Reckon we have more of a chance if it is wet than if it’s not.

Only one change? Gee what on earth is Ken smoking?!?
Some posters mentioned early in the week a 5 day break for Maggie's players coming into the all game would see minimal changes and it's happened . Some lucky players running around Friday night

"We saw last week that we had some issues, particularly in the last quarter, we weren't able to bring the ball to ground as well as we would've liked," Power coach Ken Hinkley told reporters on Thursday morning.

"Todd gives us a bit more height in that area and he gives us a bit more aerial assistance.

What everygody knew instinctively would happen is Ken's astute post-match analysis. It honestly annoys me to hear him even talk anymore. Coaching-wise he comes across as being slower than Grandpa Simpson chasing a ****ing special needs turtle.

By mid season we can hope that Lienert might come in for Bonner because Ken-on-the-spot notes "he provides us with a bit better rebound out of defense".

I noticed that we are $4.20 for the win. I hope you’ll join me on getting as high as possible while watching the boys get pumped by 10 goals.

The game segues into 4/20 anyway so it was the plan.

I feel that Drew has put the club in a bit of a quandary. He is an inside mid that has a good disposal. We haven't had that since Hammer. The reason why Hamish was never used on the inside as much is that his body couldn't stand up to it. Rocky offers a bit more than Wines because he keeps his feet and gets balls out of the packs quicker. I am not saying that there is no place for Wines in the team. He just needs to realize that he is the third choice inside mid.

I also want to say how happy I am that footy is back. I am doing some work right now and later I get to watch the boys play. If they play like **** I will turn it off and watch a movie but most of the time I see the game through. As long as they are good to watch. They were hard to look at last year.

Let's get behind the boys and forget about the Hinkley hate for now. Last week was a backwards step. Let's hope they don't get to cute and get their hands dirty today and play football in the clinches. None of that constant switch that doesn't work because when they are doing that the other team is getting into position and when they do get the ball our structure are all out and they score easily.

Still managed 5 direct turnovers this week from 13 disposals (38% of disposals were turned over), compared to 8 turnovers from 19 disposals last week (42% of disposals were turned over).

Better defensively but he needs a kick up the arse with his ball use.

Was at game and I'll watch again today but though most of "turnovers" were where he had no time had to dispose of ball instantly . Stats can be very misleading . You look at some players efficiency post game and it looks elite until you realise soft no pressure chip to chip kicks

Most defenders should have higher than normal disposal efficiency because of the short kicks to stationary players and switch kicks to uncontested players in space. It's why someone like Dougal had 3 turnovers from 20 disposals.

I could argue that but I was writing specifically about last night as your comment was about that .

He was good , enjoy the good games this appears to be searching for a moan
