From a sample size of 1 game? Gone a little early with that point i think.
Who else has kicked our goals this year? LeCras is a downhill skier. Darling is out of form at the moment. Hill might bob up for his couple of seagull goals if he shows up on the day.

JK is our only forward that has shown something this year. The forward line loses structure without him, as demonstrated yesterday.

Simmo needs to use a tagger me think. Hutch could but I would love One of Nelson or mutimer to do it as they have some mongrel in them and it will also develop their game.

To be fair apart from a couple of rounds at the end of 2016 we haven't played good football sinse 2015. I can speculate that it all has to do with losing the GF but I'm not sure. Also, I was interested in pykes pressed as he was talking about his game plan needing changes. Don't hear that from Simmo. Can only hope a bunch of senior players ask for trades so that we have a hope of restarting. Just a pitty jk and Nic Nat are wasted.

This is very true. Last year was the most forgettable season of watching West Coast play that I can remember. It was only the last three rounds when we beat GWS, Hawthorn and Adelaide where the team really gelled.

I am not really sure why the players seemed to have lost interest/motivation but something is wrong.

We can only hope that at the season end there is a clean-out of players, recruiters and some coaching staff and start again in 2018.

Ins: Lycett for Mackenzie or Schofield
Karpany for Lecras
Wellingham for Hutchings
Mutimer for Priddis

Play Petrie in Kennedy's role, Yeo on Dangerfield and Duggan on Selwood. From memory, one of Duggan's better games was against St Kilda in 2015 when he played on Montagna; might be good for his development and he is not doing much at the moment anyway.

In reality, it will be Redden (after getting 30 disposals for East Perth tomorrow) in for Hutchings and some form of Mitch Brown selection.

Yep, I'm keen to see him play in the senior team before the end of the year. Doubt it happens though.
I wouldn't mind seeing him in the guts for ep. He has a good frame to work with and could fill out nicely. He also good pretty hard into contests and hence could make a nice inside/outside mid or even an embley type tall wingmen.

Agree Lecras -gone
What we do know about JD, at the half way point off his career, is that he is mentally shot and crumbles under pressure in ever clutch moment and big game. He lacks agility and ball skill and has hands of steel above and below his head - would Free offer a second round our are the starter than that.

Probably wont change the midfield against an onform Geelong team but Lecras , Cripps and Butler might have some doubts over there selection depending on form of Eagles players in the WAFL derby tomorrow I would think .

What does Priddis provide that bringing in a new player won't?

Keeping someone dependant on who we are playing and ignoring their form gives an excuse for the MC to leave Priddis etc in for the rest of the year

Swan Districts supporter yea? Not surprising.

Haven't seen the game yet. Camping this long weekend, listened to the last quarter on radio.

It doesn't sound like there are any easy answers. Lots of droppable players, some a few years too old to consider for the long term but who's dropping will hurt our overall performance.

We've been doing that for 5 years and they never do. They're heroes at home, wimps on the road. Lately they're not even heroes at home.
That was my point.

Maybe it should be a team not negotiable.

Put you head over the ball and show a few more stones.

Or maybe, we have a bunch of soft ***** that don't care about their day job

Have a weird feeling that we won't see the changes we want, with the reasoning being that the same players with the rest will turn it around.
Yep the more I think about it the more I think Simmo will come up with "we've challenged the players to respond" and we might see Masten in for Hutchings or something redundant like that.

Can't wait for the EP game tomorrow with some spots up for grabs. Let's hope many of them have blinders to get some pressure from beneath happening and so we get some youth coming through. Really keen for younger guys like Partington, Watson, Venables, Lycett (still young for a ruck), Mutimer, Barrass, Karpany, Lamb and Rioli to push for selection as i think they're all very capable to come into the 22 and provide shining lights in an otherwise dull year so far.

Can't wait either. Hopefully they play Redden in the guts, I think he will still go ok if he plays where Priddis does atm.

Veneables - I'd like tp see him play hff for the first 5 senior games with some time in the middle to ease him into it, he is also sharp around the big sticks

Agreed but I especially hope that if Lamb and Partington have good games then they get reward for a solid bank of form over several weeks

The others you've mentioned are either coming back from injury (Lycett, Rioli, Watson or have had an opportunity to varying degrees (Barrass, Mutimer and Karpany )
