You've lost it CEY is probably leading the Margary of course he would be ahead of wigg

Vader doesn't think SANFL form factors into selection. Unless it backs up his travelling/non-playing emergency is 23rd selected every week regardless of other factors belief. Yes, it does seem possible for Vader to have his cake and eat it too.

Not surprised no one will get rested next week how many more weeks before we get the next bye why would you rest anyone they need continual playing

You've been strongly advocating no rests at all and you were wrong. 2 weeks ago the club said no rests. Why would you be certain that there won't be resting next week?

He's faster, and when he kicks he can actually hit the side of a barn from more than 2 feet away.
It's a shame you don't get to see much SANFL in Canberra, if you did your bias against CEY's kicking ability probably wouldn't be what it is. He seems much improved in this area.....anyway we'll see Saturday night I guess, it looks like he'll play.

I would be surprised if they continued to rest players against Fremantle. That should be rightly seen as a danger game. 3 games left of the season, % is of the upmost importance and surely the club would look for momentum. The issue with resting players against Fremantle is that it's just 2 weeks then another bye and if we are in a prelim after that game it could be just 3 games in 5 weeks.

The area that we have the greatest scope for improvement is our outside midfielders. We are better than last year when DMac and vB were running and carrying but our outside mids are hardly striking fear into the heart of the other Premiership contenders.

We need to choose two, possibly three of the following; THE RAT, THE SEED, Bran Nue Mackae and THE HENDO. Saturday night is part of the audition. I can't say who we will use in the finals because THEY LOST THE BLOODY LIST!!!!

Compounding the issue is there's a chance we are playing one too many inside mids. If one wasn't there then a few extra mins from those remaining, plus extra minutes to Rat, Lyons and Dougie would cover from within the current 22. Leaving an extra spot for an outside specialist. As it stands right now, it seems that either of Seed or Same Ole Mackay will make way structurally if Shooter wasn't rested.

Maybe the mix could be adjusted with Dougie and Lyons roles, with one making way to keep an extra outside runner and carrier.

I'll bet Vader sees as much SANFL as you do .....

Everyone has that mate who lives with a fat girl and now and then when he's wasted he gives in to her advances and let's her mount him. Now, statistically it counts as getting laid. But it's not really getting laid.

That's a Dmac tackle. Statistically it counts as a tackle, but it's not really a tackle.
What a hideous ****ing analogy.

I think this game is ripe to reward our best and most consistent SANFL player. It will unfortunately only be one game anyway unless injuries occur. I am sure he will add some enthusiasm to the midfield due to trying to save his career. I suggest if he fails to impress tomorrow night his career as an AFL player is all but over so it will be a lot of pressure.

Couldn't find the injury thread but gee Otten sticks out like a sore thumb ;) everyone else has a lower leg problem.

We know Wigg was ahead last week. He was the traveling emergency, and they spent half the week talking up how close he was to being selected.

Then CEY played a blinder, and gets selected ahead of Wigg. It really is that simple.

But it contradicts your views on the value of SANFL form. Which you've only just posted again regarding Symes.

Ahhh I see, so that's why the top 20 tacklers in the AFL at present all play in the midfield.
Can you ask Wayne why he continues to ignore the fact that he was wrong about defenders being the top tacklers please? Thanks in advance.

I didn't do anything there.

We'd never use O'Brien as our 23rd player either, regardless of whether he is close to selection or not for the same reason.
Thought you were playing off the suggestion by ad victorium that Mackay owed his ongoing selection to his flexibility.

That's not what I've said, and you know it. Keep on trolling 1970crow, never change.

It is a shame. Got to see a couple of games on 7Mate earlier this year, but for some reason they've stopped showing the late night mid-week replays here.

Riley Knight has had the longest 1-2 week injury ever
Don't know why they don't admit he is cooked and put him to pasture

I can really see us been top 2 side next year when we get back Sauce, Tex, VB, Knight, Hendo and Ramsay. We have been cruelled with injury and we're a lot better side than the results are showing.

In fact I think we will be premiership favourites again, amidoingitright
