Sub won't get announced till sunday. Sub could come from anywhere!
Woops, meant to say named on the ground! Could be completely wrong but it seems the sub usually comes from the bench.

Noticed Boyds still icing his knee after the games, he's definitely not 100% i don't think.

Probably, yeah. Boyd's the only tall on the extended bench though and I'm not really a fan of dropping him for this game.

Like to see Talia play but who is the Pies tall fwd who will chop us up to warrant the cover?

They're playing the two rucks, so I'm guessing Rough takes Witts/Grundy. Darcy Moore and Jesse White also named. Nothing too stressful, but I'd rather at least one of Morris/Wood play a bit smaller. Particularly with Fasolo there who is certainly capable of pulling four goals from his arse if not manned well.

Fasolo is the dangerman I feel. His forward pressure is poor on most occasions but his ability to impact the scoreboard is very very good.

I'm guessing Toyd will be out and Roughy will play back and swing into the ruck. Redpath and Stringer the tall targets. Get the feeling stringer will be happier somewhat that he regains main man status.

Not the worst thing in the world for Toyd to hopefully kick a big bag in the 2's.

Our forward line looks a lot more dangerous with the one tall in my opinion. Backline will match up very well if Talia comes in, Talia on White, Morris on Moore, Roughy to play on Grundy while Campbell and Witts go head to head.
Wouldn't mind seeing Biggs have another go and Darley get a few games.

Roughead named in defence doesn't look promising. It would be impressively stupid to play him in the backline against a Cloke-less Collingwood, especially after his disgustingly bad game last week.

Not bringing Will in isn't promising either. Campbell was an embarrassment last week, and Will would smash their young ruckmen.

Has Darley really earned a game though? This game is too important to use spots deciding whether or not to keep a player at the end of the season.
I wouldn't have thought so either.

I can only think that he may be HBF back up in case M Boyd replaces Wally in the middle.

Campbell got lost in Q1 but did a lot better in Q2 I thought. Took him 30 mins to adjust to AFL pace is what it looked like from my couch.

Bit tall if Talia comes in for a small?

Bit funny if we did that after going a bit smaller against someone like Hawkins last week, then go in a bit taller for the likes of Fasolo this week :rainbow:

Three back flankers on the extended bench though and Daniel played a fair bit back there last week. Think Boyd is our backup plan.
Good point. I'd probably rather Boyd if Wally does come out in the hope that one of Hrovat or Jong (heck, maybe even Goodes) can have a good game for the 'scray and help fill the Stevens void. Rather than bringing one in now underdone.

I'd go in talia and darley out dale and prudden, gives us a better structure down back and sub a tall out of the forward line for more run later in the game.
B: Morris Roughead wood
Hb: Boyd talia murphy
C: macrae Wallis Dahl
Hf: Crameri stringer hunter
F: redpath Boyd Dickson
Foll: Campbell picken Bont
Int: darley jj grant Daniel
