Changes vs Eagles

I have it on very good authority that Sinclair is on his last chance with North. Laidley and Jess apparently dont get on, and Jess has been seen out a few nightclubs the past few weeks.

Laidley is apparently a big fan of Gavin Urquart and may use him to fill Jess' position. Look for Urquart to make his debut vs the Eagles. Ben Ross is also a very good chance of being selected, he has been playing well in the VFL and Laidley loves him.

Laidley and his last chance ultimatums mean nothing. Case in Point : Leigh Brown.

What I'd like to see

Grant and C.Jones on notice.

Wundke and Obst to be considered for promotion if Smith does not stand up.

Swallow and Ross to be considered after the WCE game as well, dependent upon form.

I remember Priddis & Rosa playing pretty well last year when they got under the radar, albeit because others were concentrating on Judd & Kerr & Cousins.

For a 1st gamer playing in shit conditions against Adelaide he didn't do any worse than a few players

My god, what a difference that would make. Spot on there Zebra, I think however that Thompson will prove to be a very hany shield in defence over the next couple of years. For now however, more experience required.

To think that a sober coach that isn't taking the piss could include thse guys in the list against possibly the second most drilled side in the comp is inexcusable.

These inclusions signify class, skill, speed and accountability.

I did like your thinking, but Harris a likely out? I know his form hasn't been as good as it could be, but I wouldn't have thought he'd be a possible out. What's your thinking here? Or can someone show me stats about an alarming decrease in output? Thought he was pretty good against Adelaide on the whole.

I tried to make it balanced. Gibson in for Thompson as a key defender. Riggio and Grima in for Brown and Power for midfielders.

People want Josh Smith out so that when he is dropped it gives some people a chance to have a crack at JYD for dropping a first gamer.

You may well be right although from my vantage point, each game Hunter S Thompson has played has seen him leak goals whereas Watt has been pretty tight for most of the year. So I suppose it depends on the match committee's expectations of a defender.

And my expectation of the match committee is that they don't put a 3rd game 192cm defender on a resting midfielder in greasy conditions. Crazy stuff.
