Probably this week is not the week to do it, but like many others have noted, i'd love to see Boyd and Red get a run together for a few weeks. With Roughy down, now could be that time after this week.

For this week:

In: Crameri, Hrovat, Webb
Out: McLean, Roughy, Morris

Toyd gets another rest week and i'd go with another small as opposed to Talia for Morris, due to the humid conditions.

PS still don't understand why we effectively swapped Darwin for Cairns. I got the feeling our support in Darwin was building nicely. Really short sighted decision.

Thinking about plonking some money on GC. If we win, I'm happy. If we lose, I've got something little to cheer me up.

I was expecting closer to 50/50 actually.
I only ever bet against the Dogs when we're underdogs and I know we won't win...... just my principle, generally for multi legs only.

If we were 50/50 against GCS I'm straight to the TAB chucking whatever on us though, they've only won 2 games and will probably lose players at the end of the year for one reason or another for the 1st time in their history really (Dixon and Bennell immediately spring to mind as possibilities), they need to have a strong draft/trade position to get maximum value from a poor year, won't win more than 5 games, we need the wins to cement ourselves in the 8.

Out: Roughead, Morris, McLean, Honeychurch
In: Hrovat, Biggs, Talia, Campbell

Go big or go home. Dixon is on fire right now, and if we don't respect him by double teaming him, he's going to be a nightmare to defend in the air.

Campbell deserves an opportunity after being in the bests again for Footscray. Just give him a chance already, see what he can do under the new gameplan. I'd rather have him in the team than send T.Boyd up to Cairns right off the back of his injury.

Biggs to come in after a BOG performance for Footscray. Makes a lot more sense than Webb in my opinion, as we need stronger bodies in the team.

Honeychurch was just too abysmal against Carlton. Butchered the ball every time he got it, and struggled badly at keeping up with the pace of the game.

I'm really worried and not confident this week.

If Greece pulls out of the Euro then the flow-on effects could be catastrophic. Also Gold Coast have now gone on a one-in-a-row streak, they have Gary and we've beaten nobody.

Prudden listed in the bests, is this the moment of his ascension?

I'll be honest and say this has all the makings of a bad loss for us. I'm worried about the Suns speed of ball movement. Ok, they were only playing against Lol Norf, but still. They were good at the contest and moved the ball quickly.

Very worried about being too tall and too slow, without enough run and penetrating kicks... Will be interesting to see the MC this week and then how the game pans out...

Honey was ordinary but I'm all for giving blokes at least 2 weeks. Particularly with McLean out, I'd play him again

Due to injuries the outs are McLean, Morris and possibly Roughy.

My ins:
Crameri, Boyd and possibly Talia. If Boyd isn't ready then Hrovat. Not exactly like for like in every instance but we still have a nice balance.
Honey the sub, Daniel plays the full game!!

One team is 8-5 the other is 2-11and percentage off last, the bulldogs should be strong favourites.

Who 'only' managed to get past 3 win Carlton by 9 points, and GC just tore 'mature, finals contender' North a new one. You're only as good as your last game.

Out: Morris (inj.); McLean (inj.); Roughead (inj.)
In: Webb; Hrovat; Boyd

Minson and Boyd to share ruck duties. Honeychurch or Hrovat to be the sub. Daniel to start in the guts!

If Roughead is not injured, then Redpath to be omitted for Boyd.

Even then we lost to the Saints after beating Sydney!!!!! WE ARE ONLY AS CONSISTENT AS SOLAR FLARES.

We need Talia back this week. Dixon and Lynch are both 200cm thereabouts so we need a couple of options if they get a hold of us.

Roberts to Dixon, Talia to Lynch and Hamling can play smaller.

Ins
Talia, Webb, Boyd, Crameri

Outs
Morris, McLean, Roughead (all inj), Honey (omt)

Every week people are "worried about this one"... We will lose one eventually but you'd get better odds just backing us this year!
Feels like we've got the first 3 legs of the quaddie. The 4th leg is always the most intense. Confident we can get the job done. If we bring our A game intensity, Gold Coast won't cope.

We need to be wary of Adam Saad, very JJ like the way he counter punches off the half back line, such a huge source of drive and his speed helps break down the zone. He's my smokey for risking star and we need to shut him down.

Saad has injury doubts for next week

I think the club need to rest Dalhouse this due to the leg injuries and bring in Hamilton ?
