There won't be any unforced changes heading into next week. Can't see Thommo getting up so Matt Crouch comes in given his performance last night and Luke Thompson or Hartigan for Truck in the event he doesn't get up.

Do you think might be good to give him a chance to play an offensive role through the middle? He's been playing defensive roles for so long, and it would give him a chance to get his hands on the ball a bit more. How far away is the Kegg?
He should but I don't think he will come straight back into the side any more and will have to play in the state side first.

Talia to Rough, Thompson to Gunston so that leaves Breust.L Thompson seems like a better match up for Gunston than Hartigan, so does that give him an edge? Who does Otten go to?

Long term, what is his role? Midfield? Forward? In the state league side?
I guess so but only if they intend on him replicating that role in the AFL.

I think he's out for another 2/3 weeksHow far away is the Kegg?

That's what was said. Not sure if last and this week are counted in that 2-3 week period though.I think he's out for another 2/3 weeks
Out: B Rutten, B Martin (S Thompson, P Dangerfield if injured)
In: S Kerridge, L Thompson (M Crouch, B Reilly)
I would like to se M Crouch come into the side but I am not so sure. Maybe due to team balance he will struggle to crack the side unless Thommo does go down with an injury.
Spot onWhy the f*** would they drop Martin. He's been named in the best players today and rightly so. Is it an automatic text insert for some of you blokes?

Kedge wont play next week so it wont matterno, but that's the unfortunate nature of having your best 22 available. Look I agree, Martin has been great but Kerridge probably offers just as much if not more. Hence he must come in.
Is it time to give Tex a week ?? Hasn't been quite his normal self for a few weeks and looks a bit lost. Big call I know as the structure is ok. Might be a good time for Thommo to have a week off. Crouch or Lyons in, probably Crouch as he will at least play midfield.
We need to be much better in centre clearances so maybe both ??

Form wise or potential wise ?? If Thommo is struggling to get up from a 6 day break then he doesn't play, if he is good to go he plays I agree. Just think the day less will harm his chances.Resting 2 of our top 5 most important players is basically forfeiting against Hawthorn.
If Lake does get suspended, it is a great opportunity for us to stretch their defense with Jenkins, Pods, Lynch, and Walker all up there.Form wise or potential wise ?? Walker is not in our best 5 currently, not even close. He needs to be managed carefully and just looks a bit lost. A lot will depend on how he feels but he does appear flat.

Thats a reason to keep him in IMO. Would love to see Cheney or Shoenmakers on one of our big guys...... That said we need more run, North ran them off their legs.If Lake does get suspended, it is a great opportunity for us to stretch their defense with Jenkins, Pods, Lynch, and Walker all up there.
