Can't believe the continual calls for libba he was woeful and has stunk up the vfl no way he should come back in. Other players go back and put the effort in on the vfl and they should be rewarded ahead of a bloke going through the motions even if his name is liberatore. Can't make much of a decision on who comes in until the vfl game tonight but I would be making a number of changes.

Out:
Cloke - no intensity from the start was terrible.

Adams - injured

English - not ready for afl atm.

Picken - hasn't played well for weeks.

Jong - been a defender but on a night where he should have relished the contested game he had 13 touches and gained just 67 metres, fumbled constantly and continually lost his man at stoppages.

Lucky to survive. M Boyd, suckling and dale.

Will do ins after vfl game but we need to reward the guys who perform in the vfl not reward guys on past performances and their name

Everyone needs to relaxxxx

We dished up some rubbish this game but so has every other team this year. Sydney were on and we were off it happens in the league these days. Really hoping Webb, Williams and Cordy have big games as they would be the 3 I would bring back. T. Boyd also, and agree with everyone on here that surely M. Boyd days are numbered..

In no specific order and after I have calmed down from last nights effort

In Out
Redpath Cloke not up to our standard and glad Woods are paying his contract
TBoyd Adams injured
Morris English away into the gym for the next 9 months
Williams Jong Mr. Fumbles
Honeychurch Moyd Game has sadly gone past him may not get to 300
Webb Suckling He has been very average for several weeks
Z.Cordy Dale Dale could stay in but will most likely be the 1st one dropped
Campbell Picken Really struggling for form, then again I cant really see Campbell getting a game soon either unless Toyd isnt ready
Liberatore Hunter Cant be playing better than Libba was ? wont happen

What this shows is Bevo is not afraid to swing the axe after a horrible performance. We are 4/4 on the rebound, and all four rebounding games have seen us play incredible footy.

I am fully expecting Bevo to swing the axe next week and hopefully it produces another brilliant winning performance on the field.

I'm pretty sure this is not correct. Collingwood were happy to get him off their books for a low draft pick if we negotiated a new deal with him, albeit on a much reduced contract.

Yeah I'm certain he forfeited his previous contract with Collingwood and signed a fresh 2 year contract with us for a reduced amount.

as long as the amount is much reduced and only for 2 years we are probably paying about right for nothing but a back up player

The team's won the last 8 games that Boyd and Roughead have played together. In the same time when they haven't played together the team is 5 and 6. It might be a coincidence but the last two games have shown very different results without this combo.

Would be shocked if Dale got dropped. He was average last night but I absolutely loved his game against St Kilda. He can really play.

I wouldn't rush to drop Cloke. Last nights performance should not determine whether he should be dropped or not. It was a mess across the board.

I would be looking at some players who have been down for long periods of this year before Cloke, he has missed a fair bit of the season via injury.

Out - Suckling, Dale, Adams, English, Cloke

In - Libba, Honeychurch, Morris, T.Boyd, Cordy

Out players still on holiday after weeks rest.
Silly selections like playing a 1 game tall skinny kid in the wet.Or players that are obviously cooked but playing because of reputation.
In players who take responsability and kick (instead of errant handballls) to create goals.
Players like Collins to show if they have what it takes.

Heard on the radio a bit earlier that Adams is done for the year, can anyone confirm? I'd pretty much draw a line through us now.

I think they are all assuming it is lisfranc and they may be correct but only scans will confirm the injury and not sure if scan results are known right now and no official word from the club anyway

Most of those big changes are either guns coming back, or forced changes due to injury.

In saying that the recipe is the same here, Adams forced change, Toyd and Morris the guns returning.

I do not really think you can compare those losses above with the way the Bulldogs are travelling now. Even in some of those bad losses you have mentioned, there was still a high level of intensity from the dogs at the start of the game and the effort was there. If you look at now, there is a complete lack of energy and desire from basically most of the team. You still have people thinking that all of a sudden the club can switch on and everything will come together. It will not happen unless the players are working their arses off. And it looks like they dont want to. Of course things can change, but the Bulldogs are not a finals standard side at this stage. They are not going to run out next week and become world beaters. It starts with hard work on the track and the players being honest about what they want to achieve. All we ask for next week is some passion, for players to be pro active rather than to react to everything around them and for team mates to support each other. If we get that, we are a chance to win.

Im majority disappointed with the group. Not so much because we lost but the lack of fight.
