Douglas has put his hand up to play and will be available subject to medical clearance. Only changes I can see are Laird and Douggie in for Porps and ?. Guess it would have to be Shaw, but think the powers-that-be would want to see him again.
Reilly looked like he needed at least another run in the Magoos before being considered.
You thought Brodie Martin was good in this case?

As for changes...assuming Dougie is out still.
In: M Crouch, Reilly
Out: Porplyzia, Martin
Laird??
If Laird is fit, Laird instead of Reilly.
Depends on matchups though, but Laird should be played as soon as he's 100%
I find Reilly really slow, I do prefer Laird ahead of Reilly.
What sort of rigours would they have to put the affected area through to get a clearance to play?
I can't remember which Showdown last year, I think it was Gray, gave Laird a football lesson and kicked 2-3 goals on him. I hope we don't see that match up again. If Laird is fit, Laird instead of Reilly.

I would like to officially apologise to Matthew Jaensch, his family, his many girlfriends and his workmates for the personal crusade I went on to crucify him, gut him and have him keel hauled after our loss to Geelong.
In my defence I had consumed quite a large amount of Coopers Clear and a lovely bottle of Pirrimimma Sparkling Shiraz for my wife's birthday - yes things got personal I said things I regret Matthew and I hope we can all just move on, however, Matthew if you are going to continue to make our first 22 could you please ask your boss to play you on the wing or around the half forward line for OHSW reasons, you cannot be expected to put up with my taunts, pathetic threats and abusive language next Saturday afternoon as your opposition kick goals over your head or you place a handball onto your mates chest just as Schultz and friends are about to consume them.
For those of you who I upset challenging Champion Data I apologise - but like that stubborn child at school secretly I still think MJ at 100% is BS.
I promise to drink a beer with anyone who would like to talk through my issues on the Hill Saturday afternoon.
from what i understand, he spent last weekend shadowing Slippery Pete weekend. if he got through that, he should be good to go.
I'm amazed they said it was because of insufficient force, he didn't even go in to bump him.. He was going down to pick the ball up and then saw the player coming in, nowhere to go and nothing he could do.. He actually did well to pull his body up a bit to not go through him..LJ cleared by MRP. Free to play

I know that DE isn't the be all and end all of guidelines, but not sure what more Matty Jaensch could do being at 100%. Lets give him a bit of a break. Also had 5 Rebound 50s, 4 I50, 3 tackles and 3 one percenters. Thats a fairly good game from Matty and shows that he worked both end of the grounds. Deserves his praise and stays in the team as I've said before.
Sammy Shaw another interesting one with a team high 7 one percenters. Just reinforces his defensive ability and reading of the play. Didnt do much else and went at 64% efficiency. I thought he had a pretty solid game until the 4th. In two minds about him atm but I think he stays based on us having no other options. Hartigan could come in, but I think that makes us too defensive with Talia and Rutten already in the side, at least Sam Shaw can take the ball forward and has somewhat of an attacking mindset.
Good point. That was Lairds worst game of the year.I can't remember which Showdown last year, I think it was Gray, gave Laird a football lesson and kicked 2-3 goals on him. I hope we don't see that match up again.
Matthew has said I need to drop some kilo's but I did sneak in a couple of Paleys Saturday night.mate, there is a lovely array of coopers' beers that would result in acceptance of your apology. i'm not sure that Clear is one of them.
