After watching what The Eagles put up today we would have to not turn up and forfeit on the day to lose. They have the cue in the rack bigtime. Fortunately or not depending on your point of view I don't believe Harves will play to lose but maybe I'm naive.

Their form at Subi this year has been okay while their away form is laughable.

Sorry, I meant Foster and not Clarke.

It's not a shame to be beaten by Mitch Clark, especially in your 3rd game in the AFL. That was a silly comment.
Get lost. I never said anything about it being a shame to lose out to Mitch Clark. I was simply stating it. ****, stop putting words into my mouth.

Away results - all losses:

Brisbane 9 points
Saints 97
Hawks 18
Sydney 5
Carlton 41
Richmond 15
Melbourne 20
Port 36

Its not great but an average losing margin of 30 points on the road for an ordinary side isn't THAT bad. Take out the St Kilda flogging and its 20 points 5 of the results at 20 points or less.

Compare that with, say Freo:

Bulldogs 63
Saints 83
North 13
Port 24
Pies 84
Crows 117

Thats 64 points per loss.

I agree, the Eagles have been bad on the road but laughable may be a touch strong.

When was the last time West Coast won away?

didnt play the bulldogs away, and won a game too. I think laughable is strong too, but your home form has been very good in patches.

I think its more the fact they don't want to admit that he was thoroughly beaten by a part time ruckman.

Any suggestions on a replacement? Hopefully Sandilands does come back this week but we would have been screwed if Zac was not rucking for us the last few weeks.

Brisbanes Clark has been one of the most improved players in the AFL this year it is no disgrace for a first year player who has had less than 5 games to have his colours lowered. I am grateful that we had Zac playing for us and he is going to be a big part of our Ruck division in future.

Warnock ? Who is that? Viva ZAC!:thumbsu::D

When was the last time West Coast won away?

End of 2007.

So because we failed by 5 points and 9 points this year in 2 tough away games our other losses are magnified and become "laughable"?

While I wouldnt mind winning one, its hardly a big deal in the scheme of things. I mean you won at Carrara in an essentially neutral game by a kick - other than that you have won 1 away since the end of 2007. Hardly something to get excited about is it?

If the Eagles have been laughable away this year, how would you describe Freo away this year?

What's your effin problem? Couldn't care less what your real thoughts were, I just replied to what you wrote there. FWIW, the way you described M Clark as a "part-time ruckman", I saw that as degrading tbh. Anyway, let's just leave it at that.

You are right. Should swap that Bullies for the following weeks 38 point loss to the Dons. Apologies.

Not sure if winning one "away" counts when its at a neutral venue. But technically it was a Blues home game so I guess thats fair enough.

Wouldnt mind us playing Melbourne in Adelaide or Darwin as an away game.

He IS a part time ruckman. What else do you want me to describe him as? Not once in that entire sentence did I say Zac was a disgrace or anything like that. God you people can be such idiots at times, blindly taking stabs in the dark or making defamatory comments with untrue statements.

Blah, Blah, Blah..............

Bradesmaen, playing the victim again. Have you ever noticed that people give you a hard time continually?

Ever stopped to think, "Why is it this way?"

Very simple, you come out with comments that are incorrect (M Clark is a full time ruckman since earlier in the year the Brisbane ruckman went down FULL TIME, Hinkley is a better kick than Suban-Come on, REALLY???)

After you come out with these incorrect statements you then insult other people for opposing views and then call them idiots.

You want to see the biggest idiot on here Bradesmaen?

Look in the mirror, that is the biggest idiot on the Net.:thumbsd::thumbsd::thumbsd:

You've played at Carrara in the past two seasons as well. Didn't win.

If a team as bad as Freo can win away, then what does that say about West Coast's away form? I think the adjective 'laughable' is pretty precise.

As for close losses, we had those last year. Means nothing.

Probably be our last win for the year... so 5 changes

In:
Pav, Sandi, Schammer, Headland, Pratt

Out:
Taz, Foster, Campbell, Peake (go and have a bender), Bradley

Then we stick everyone who we need for surgery in to get them ready for a big pre-season.

Depending on who is fit and who is not (Id say a few will be touch and go). I would like to see Walters given another run.
Headland should be given a game or 2 with Subi as he needs match conditioning if he is deemed fit to play
Pratt would also be a good selection
Jay Van Berlo is a smokey for this week. He may need another run or 2 in the WAFL but I really think he will be upgraded off rookie list and given a game before seasons end

We played once last year and lost by 6 points to North. It was also their second home. Hardly the same as the Blues.

Agree that close losses are meaningless but they tend to remove the "laughable" label.

Pratt was pretty ordinary on the weekend [according to the AFL watch in The West. Walters however was one of the best Swans.

Who would have Taz played on? Would he have played on Lynch or Kennedy? The Eagles don't have a dominant tall forward so it probibly wont hurt us as much him not being avaliable, and we don't have to bring in a key defender (Not that we could).

I would have played him on Kennedy or Lecras.

Shutdown those 2 and the Eagles dont have a forward line.
