I tend to agree that no-one knows how overworked the host of Footy Classified & the Footy Show is.
Or did you mean Fremantle's coach, Mr Rox?

Who's talking about 4-5 changes.I was just saying lots of posters needlessly get themselves worked up by assuming the club is always making the wrong decision. Reading that thread always gives a little perspective before posting.
I am also not saying my opinion is always right. But I also acknowledge I don't have all the info the club has. I would rather Lyons than Porps but they are not going to make 4 or 5 changes. Something has to give at some stage.
So you think that SANFL football is just as intense as AFL? And that game in the SANFL wouldn't allow a player a slight freshen up whilst still maintaining fitness? Or they might ask Glenelg to only play him 70% game time to manage him like Crouch at Westies?
Who's talking about 4-5 changes.
McKernan for Martin - tick
Hendo for Brown ( inj ) - tick
Crouch for ?????
3 changes. It's nothing to do with too many changes. It's got to do with young players out performing senior players but being omitted . And let's call a spade a spade... It's not resting or general soreness...it's omission.

Reputation and experience is meaningless - select on form.
Porps can't play as a lead up forward either.

Our kids are better than our incumbents.

Oh of course it was, one for the ages. Must be why the coaches dropped him then and Porps stayed in.SERIOUSLY?
Porps was absolutely atrocious and watching him closely while at the game his work rate was nothing short of pathetic, and I had Lyons in our best 8 last week. His clearance work was absolutely awesome. One of the better 18 possession games from a midfielder I can recall.
I agree with your point and as much as Lyons getting dropped annoyed me, dropping Porps was never going to save Jarrod Lyons.
SMACK for Martin was structural
Hendo for the Injured Brown (I suspect) was to allow Dangerfield to move back to the midfield
and Crouch for Lyons was one midfielder for another. Straight swap.
Lyons can not play as a lead up marking forward - that's not how he plays the game, therefore dropping Jason Porplizia would have placed way to much pressure on the structure of the team.
For Lyons to stay in the team, David MacKay would have had to drop out and I'm still not counting that ever. Even after he has been passed fit to play.
With Henderson coming in, either him or Porps will start as the sub.
According to who? The lynch mob on the Adelaide board on BF? Haha, don't make me laugh. If you really do believe this though, I look forward to a detailed post of the past month, going into extensive detail about each player during that time which shows Lyons is in the top dozen. He may be, I'll be interested to see the proof though.Who gives a shit about age? Players in form deserve to be in the 22. Lyons is in fantastic form. Porps isn't. I couldn't give a toss if Lyons is 18, 21 or 30. Someone playing like he is at present should be in the team over someone playing like Porplyzia. Its not rocket science. And it certainly isn't a 'short term expense' to pick a bloke who is in better form than another bloke.
Lyons has been in our best dozen in the last month, screw the best 22. This is why folks are upset.

Disagree with this statement big time...
That is exactly what he does best!!!
It's great your happy that we are one of the 3 worse performed teams over the last 15 years. Don't be surprised that some don't think that's good enough

Based on?

Or maybe you could go and have a chat to Sando and voice your frustrations? Send him an email through the club?

Mate you ain't the guy to be accusing others of being irrational.Your defense of the status quo is becoming irrational.

I understand your point but disagree. Henderson could have covered Porps spot and Dangers forward spot could be any of the mids rotating through . Or keep Porps and drop MacKay, straight swap for crouch.
Whichever way you carve it up Lyons didn't deserve to be dropped when comparing his output with some senior players.
