So what happens with the Ess v Melb game? It gets played during the week? 2 points each? 4 points to Melb because Essendon?
Essendon should forfeit the points for their next 2 games.

Have to lol at a competition that gave a 1 match ban for a footballer having an open air interview outside his house in a state with zero cases while refusing to play games outside Victoria which has active cases.
The level of plain self delusions of adequacy...

All things equal, and no more cases going fwd, there will be a bye week scheduled when they play it.
Or they will get a Thursday night one week, tuesday night next and sunday the week after To catch up

Rather Essendon not play at all if they have to play multiple games to catch up puts players at risk of being mentally and physically cooked.

Because everyone who gets corona is to blame for it?

Would depend on how they caught it you would think. If from breaking quarantine rules then yeah, you've put yourself and everyone else at risk.

If reports are true that after his first test came up "irregular" and still trained, then Mckenna/staff should be apportioned some blame.

The testing is not a simple black and white definitive. Like so many others there are positives, negatives, false positives, false negatives etc. Even well known, long utilised medical tests have their parameters changed/altered around what determines a positive test depending on the levels used and set by authorities and labs involved.
As far as we know, nobody's immune system responses are identical in action/reaction to any antigen. Despite this known quantity, practically every medical test and the parameters set, within the entire worlds medical systems, assume each human will have an identical response, It's almost the running joke within mathematical biology.
Each individual infected with this Virus will have a different response to the next and I'm pretty sure we'll discover this virus can lurk for a lengthier period of time than currently assumed before testing "positive" in certain individuals.
What tests are they using? Antibody initially before P.C.R.
No. Antibody tests only recently became available, and is only used tell determine historical infection.

They take a swab, you cannot do an antibody test on a swab

It's a PCR test, and it doesn't depend on individual body responses. Virus DNA is detectable, or not. So it is black and white.

Doesn’t matter what you think of the situation— Ollie Wines still broke the rules imposed by the AFL.

Happy for the calls for us to forfeit the points.
Should forfeit the season and land pick one. That way joey is going nowhere!!!

Wait, if we finish last (very likely) does that mean we have to take Daniher? Way to kick us while we're down!

the irony of clamping down on a rule to stop a player getting corona in a situation he can’t get it, in a state with no active cases by an administration that baulked at moving Vic teams out of Vic because the likelihood of getting it by community exposure in a state with active cases was low in their opinion.

if you can’t see the double standards your head is in the sand.

He didn't train after the irregular test.

He didn't train after the irregular test.

lots of people seem to think he did? Do you know this for fact?

Genuine question to set things straight as I haven’t seen anything to do with this training..

Are they showing footage of him training before the test and it’s being mistaken for after the test? What’s the go..

Combining about four different things together to whinge #VICBIAS and make Port look like the victim doesn’t change the fact that Ollie Wines knew the rules & didn’t follow them.

The amount of cases in Victoria has nothing to do with Wines incompetence
