Polson leaves these blokes for dead
*trying desperately not to bite*Cripps still going strong at 75% disposal efficiency. Bontempelli at 64%. Both 58.1% by foot. But Cripps handballs too much so there’s always that. Cripps number 1.
Bont must have the reverse on at full power, it is amazing how fast he has gone backwards. Barely a relevant footballer now.
Other than his goalkicking, Bont is in career best form.Lolwut?
His team's results are middling, but he's clearly elevated himself so far this year, and is actually living up to the hype now, as a consistent lead midfielder.
2014-2018 - 104 games, 22.05 disposals, 3.52 marks, 4.11 clearances, 4.85 tackles, 0.96 goals, 0.67 goal assists per game
2019 - 5 games, 29.80 disposals, 4.40 marks, 6.40 clearances, 6.60 tackles, 0.20 goals (1 goal, 9 behinds), 0.60 goal assists per game

24 disposals a game is pretty average really. 11 at half time. SPS has a better game in year 3. Should go past him next year or two.Other than his goalkicking, Bont is in career best form.

Look at who hes kicking it too. To me Bont is up there as one of the best kicks to a leading forward. He's going at 29.8 a game though. And once you get it 20+ times it starts mattering more how you use it. He ain't in career best form in that regard. In 2015 he'd cut teams apart with 12 kicks. He doesn't really do that anymore.
Cripps rates the Bont the best kick in the league, the both have a enormous amount of respect for each other, love that niether of them have any figjam about them, so humble and respectful
A lot of us on BF should take a lesson from them.
We both hit the draft jackpot and are lucky these guys are playing for our football teams.
Exactly. Tell that to TooBlue who reckons this is a dick measuring contest.Cripps rates the Bont the best kick in the league, the both have a enormous amount of respect for each other, love that niether of them have any figjam about them, so humble and respectful

Down on his usual output. Did some good things today and could have had a huge impact with the help of some forward movement, unfortunately he had none. They're allowed to have less than average games, I wouldn't say Cripps was hugely influential.I was happy with Cripps today. Can Bulldogs supporters say that they were happy with Bont today?

But your forwards were honestly s**t today. Gave no options other than Gowers bobbing up here or there. What happened? Cant hit targets if there are none.
Even Plowman made your forwards his bitch today.
This is actually becoming bizarre...I wouldn't say Cripps was hugely influential.
Just let him believe our outside mids in SPS and Fisher just spawned the ball from nowhere, it won't change the reality that they were largely influenced by Cripps feeding them and everybody knows it.This is actually becoming bizarre...
Cripps had 26 touches in the first half. SPS had 25, largely fed by Cripps.
McKay or SPS were probably BOG but Cripps was clearly hugely influential in the win.
First half Cripps was huge, and was obviously playing to a role that is better suited to having his team win. Maybe wrong to specify his performance as 'not-hugely influential', however it was much less of a one man show and more of a midfield team working together, which we will come to see in later years. What I was trying to point out is that Cripps, when he has helpers, is able to play a more team-centric role that won't have him be best on ground every week. Similar to Bontempelli in that when his team is performing he is not required to be a dominant force in his role, and therefore will not standout as much. This is actually becoming bizarre...
