Given how bad Carlton were last year, the only way they are better than St Kilda this year is if their kids improve dramatically. Simpson and Murphy are on the wrong side of 30 (with Kreuzer to join them in May) and are on the way down.

Even with him they were getting thumped. It would be scary to see Carlton without him.

Nah, I think with McKay improving they've got other forward options. Curnow's still better, but McKay looks to be decent. They have no replacement for Cripps.

I got a warning from the Port Moderator for a funny haha joke about them not needing to worry about captain having Number one. They have Sutcliffe in the Reserves. I thought that was pretty soft

A warning in the first instance seems a more reasonable though than a 2 week holiday
