Scary and kind of relevant to this thread.

It’s hard to deny one’s own inbuilt mob mentality.

When I spent a year or so in Canada on my own in the mid 90’s. Within 15 minutes of being there I had been offered a job and place to stay with what was basically a bunch of Aussies. Whom I’d never met before.

The AFL will absolutely help them get a coach. Probably Paul Roos for $2mil like they did for Melbourne.

Personally don’t think there’s anything wrong with that. No point stuffing the draft around if it’s not going to help. The mature agree they had access to was a good idea, but they traded one away to get Gov. I’d be happy for the AFL to waive tax on any costs incurred in moving people on and fund outside the cap a full review and some cash towards a guy like Roos. If we’re serious about equalisation, then this is what we should expect from the AFL.

It's become a joke that the main board is being moderated like we are in a communist country.

I understand that some team board want to be protective of some discussion, but surely the main board can have a proper discussion as long as everyone plays nicely.

It was closed for the same reason ours was, circular boredom between Geogpff and his type and others. Nothing new for pages and pages.

Na he stays with the Crows for a few more years, Can see him being one of our Assistant Coaches
My early tip is a replacement for Hart.

He’d be exactly up our alley. Entire career learning from us except for 4 years in Carlton during their worst period of their history. That’s definitely the foundations of a CV that wins a recruitment process at our club.

I still get a feeling of joy when I see St Kilda fans in distress. Their loss to Pies in the GF was unexpectedly very pleasing to me. The missus even asked me why I was so happy. I didn’t know but did suggest it might be their tears bringing back a feeling of joy to me. Pavlov knew his s**t.

That's not true when I was on it... so obviously deteriorated, but then ban the culprits!

Part of me wants Bolton to play out the year at Carlton, but another part of me wants them to take the best coach available before Port come to their senses.
Kern is safe till 2021.

Port cant' afford to sack him and his after match presser last week is selling the rebuild ahead of results line to the Tealster horde.

I couldn't help but smile when he talked up their win against a depleted GC side.

Apart from the fact after watching him he is one of those natural coaches, he has the goods, And most assistants coaches don't get that many Coaching changes to gather experience.
Don't forget he also played for North, and Walkerville, he has worked under 4 senior coaches, and a large number of assistant coaches,
And he is his own man.

Late Edit For those coming late to conversation, we are talking about Matty Wright.

WA's Jeremy Sharp would be the closest to Hill in that regard IMO, likely 1st round pick, probably just outside the top 10 at this point.
Jeremy Sharp first round? Is this page a comedy club? Blokes as built like a stack of lard, fat slow and sloppy. Topping that if he isn't hitting the Juul till the cows come home hes getting pissed at the WA casino with his underage mates. not committed and seriously under skilled. Would rather take Richard Tambling.

Just like when he said the win against the Dees in round 1 was the best in his time at the club... doesn't look that impressive in hindsight considering where Melbourne are sitting now on the ladder.
