I am sick to death of people making good arguments about who we should pick. Every time I settle on a player someone makes an argument about another player and I change my mind. My head is in a spin.
This is the first time I have actually taken much interest in draft day and I have to say it is exciting stuff.
Bring on Thursday and put us out of our misery.
No matter who we get on Thursday I know I will be glad we got him but also will be disappointed we didn't get one of the other 6-7 players who are all worthy as well.

Generally you get a really good indication who teams, in the top 10 anyway, are after, about 1 to 2 days before the draft. All interviews are done and leaks happen.
Last year it was Shazza or Aish at pick 6 and Salem or Freeman at pick 10.
At this point based on media reports, pick 5 is between De Goey, Laverde and Langford. We've been linked to 5 or 6 players for picks 30 and 48. Much depends on what other clubs do with the later picks.

Bontempelli was a big chance at pick 6 if I remember
An extra inch always makes a difference.
I stand corrected. Shazza was expected to go top 4 but the morning of the draft, rumours abounded that the Dogs were taking Bont at 4 and GC had been linked to KK forever and a day.

I've only read about the players on here and in the media. Seen a few clips here and there so I won't pretend to know very much at all about them. One thing I know is that come Thursday, Hine will be reading out names that nobody will be expecting. (OK, pick 9 we can probably take an educated guess at. And pick 5.) But beyond that, Hine is a mystery. All the scribes and rumour mongers are just guessing, because they sure as hell won't get anything from Hine other than a straight bat.
After losing Beams though, I just hope like hell we smash pick 5, 30 & 48. I don't care who they are. Just 3 sooperstars please. Bring on Thursday. The wait has been long enough
