You just need a good woman EDFL Man, once they here the key searching for the lock, they know to get the bucket.
Enough of that though, we're at the half way mark of the season, who should be placed in the 'Sicky-bucket' as being no chance for finals time?

All too happy to blame each other, have a crack at each other instead of doing something about it

Reality is, too many kids with heads up their a r s e s. Thinking their a whole better than they are. have the attitude that the club and the world owes them something, when they have been their 10 minutes.

Need to stop the bull s h i t and get behind gaylard. get to training give the coach a chance to build some system and process to the game, instead of working with 25 blokes, most of which reserves players.

Any KP boys wanna have the balls to disagree with me ???

the EDFL umpires have not got the balls to lay a report

Hit the nail on the head, there were that many punches thrown by both sides and in clear view both umpires would have seen them but to chicken to report anyone, crowd was very vocal for both sides you gotta love the calls you get playing out glenroy very educated people

I think you are being a bit too soft on KP,

They are clearly headed down at this stage

I think Keilor park have a huge home ground advantage in my opinion, always tough to beat them at home.

Sounds like KP might need a clean out Jama.

JAMA, agree with some of your points. However, KP do not have that core of senior players that have been playing senior footy for 5 , 6, 7 years. These are the type of players that often demand more of their team mates on the field and on the training track. The're a very young side, with a number of new recruits playing at the club for the first time. It takes a while to gel and learn how each one plays the game. They'll be alright.

They need to back the umpires up more, they report blokes who go to the tribunal and get off, if it is a reportable offence then report them, and then the tribunal backs them up, simple, its the only reason they dont report people anymore..

Agree, but at the end of the day they(Umpires) are payed employee's of the Essendon Districk football league, they should all meet the standard requirements and by duty the edfl tribunal should stand by there umpires.

From what I hear the North Coburg Vs Moonee Valley Reserves game was abondon in the last quarter because of an all in brawl. Now that good umpiring you if you ask me

Maybe something for the Umpire Dept to look at, would be to get them down to the clubs during training, and get to know the boys playing. I'm totally with you Bricksta, that they're too scared to report anyone as the league doesn't back them. I watched KP v DS the other week, the umps awarded 2 votes to a DS player that was on the ground for 6 minutes - total. Some of the Orange Fagsters are simply happy to cop their match fees, and not to educated on the happenings of the game. There aren't too many rules to follow in the game of 'Soggy' biscuits!!!

In regards to the tribunal, the EDFL tribunal is very soft. There have been many cases where players were offered set penalties and chose to go the the tribunal instead and they end up getting less weeks. A reserves game I saw earlier in the year (involving one of the umpires mentioned previously) saw a player get reported for striking. The player was offered 2 weeks and chose to challenge it. At the tribunal, the player was found guilty of striking yet was given a severe reprimand because he hadn't been reported before. You don't get off a murder charge if you've never been arrested before when you kill someone.

In regards to the votes, it's the goal umpires who vote for the Brad Teal award unless it's U/18 where the fieldies do it.

Sounds like Monnee Valley are going places again.
Even tho it happened in the Resis, players/blokes down there must have a huge load of respect for Mario Tenace, considering it was his 350th game for the club, great way to celebrate the day.
