I was just wondering what are your thoughts as his time at Collingwood and do you think he could of Made it?
I think he sure had the Raw Talent to make it but never looked like he wanted to work on them and get himself Better.
I could see at the Time why we Drafted him as we had Slow Side with and the Midfield was called "The Plod Squad" so we drafted him because of Speed and X-Factor. Think we drafted him to Early would of been a good 2nd or 3rd round Pick.
We could of taken Wood or Monfires.

Egan's 2004 Draft Profile:
Chris Egan
Details:
Club: Rumbalara/Murray
DOB: 26 October 1986 Hgt: 187cm Wgt: 78kg
Position: Onballer/Half Forward Flank
Natural Foot: Right
Honours:
Victoria Country 2004
National Draft Camp 2004
TAC Stats:
2003: 19 games, 28 goals, 14.6 PPG
2004: 14 games, 11 goals, 18.4 PPG
Strengths: Egan is a half-forward flanker with silky skills, extremely clean hands and the ability to do the amazing. He hardly ever fumbles, and he will use his long arms to pluck marks down that he has no right to.
Egan moves well through traffic, and is a booming kick. He can kick some truly special goals and his handballing has very good power. Chris has good speed and a tremendous vertical leap.
Weaknesses: Chris can make the impossible look easy, but often fail to do the basics. Queries over the defensive side of his game and discipline at this stage, and he can go missing for large stages of a game. Has also carried a few injuries in 2004.
Footydraft.com comment: Egan is one of the hardest players to place in the draft for mine. In terms of raw ability, he is probably in the top 10 in the draft pool. On his day he can be awesome. But when he is off, he is really off. Should go early, but he is no guarantee to make it.
