Spent two hours scrapping the Sanctuary and creating my crib.

I think I'll leave sanctuary as a bit of a small settlement and build my main one at the drive in.

Has anyone built one of the scrounging plants?

has anyone used the companion app on their phone? Seems a bit useless to me, except for having the map up while running?

Put it on a tablet if you've got one. Much better experience. Plus the battery in my iPad seems to last 10x as long as my phone.

Character is mainly a sneaky sniper type.

Got 2 settlers at the coop (SW of Sanctuary), first settlement I've been building up properly since Sanctuary. The first guy was an elderly chap. Nice enough, got him doing the farming. Second guy strolls in I swear was a bandit. Is a ghoul wearing raiders armour and a bandana. I gave him a pipe rifle and assigned him to guard duty in a tower. Moments later I was so sure he was dodgy that when I became under attack that I thought it was him. Turns out it was a couple suicide Supermutants and he actually killed them.

Time to apologise to him and to not judge a book by its cover

Scrapping the barrels in the drive in water pool definitely eliminates the radiation. Tested that today

Plot twist: He staged the whole thing so that you would come to trust him, rely on him even. And then one night, when you are at your most vulnerable, that's when he'll play his hand.

I've had two quests fail because I didn't realise they were time dependent. Oops...

Talk about luck. I've 10 intelligence but still the idiot savant perk. Finished a mission worth 1100xp, perk kicked in, 3300xp gained. Multiple levels gained. Winning.

Went to the USAF base or whatever it is, was overloaded so gave Codswallop some stuff to carry, went downstairs and ran across some raiders, one of which had some big fook you machine gun that blew my head off before I could move, so thought I would come back later. Left and after a while went home for a bit, but ol mate Codsy has not been seen since? Where he at?

My bug (?) fixed itself.

I think the game was stopping me from doing other side quests... Basically the whole of goodneighbor wanted to kill me. And now that I've done a particular main story they like me again.

The outpost rescues for Preston are time dependant once you start them.

I started one, then realised i was woefully underleveled for the enemies, so fast travelled back to sanctuary. Got an instant fail for the quest

what power is your main sniper? Im now struggling to get decent weapons as I charge off deeper into the unknown. I want a brutal Sniper gun

try changing companions and you should get the option to send Codswallop to a camp of your choice...then go find him

I have done exactly the same thing, I had done a couple of loops of the place thinking i had cleared it completely then look up and still realize there are still about 20 trees. Was an f me moment for sure

I made a steel home/fortress straight up for myself... ran out of resources early to bother thinking about looking after the rest of Sanctuary hahah

How did you lose yours? I would love to lose mind as they get in the friggin way
