There wouldn't have been that many Escort Cup games in that time.

There might be, if you combined state league Escort Cup with the national comp games.
Jim played in at least 13 of them (in the bests or goals), so it's pretty academic exactly how many there were.

Frankly I think we should stop discussing this and the mods should clear up the thread.

This board already cost us Bryce Gibbs with this sort of chat and now we want to repeat the dose? Let's all shut up, see what happens, and don't give Rucci/anybody else any fodder.

That was driven by Mark Williams and Rucci was his willing puppet due to his sycophantic fanboy nature.

If this is what our draft hand looks like this year I'll be happy:

Sorry to be a Debbie Downer but pretty sure Keeler at least will be chosen without us being able to match a bid. D'Aloia may be in the same boat.

Just another 'coincidence' of a rule being implemented that affects us instantly.

D'Aloia's name will likely be called well before Keeler unless Keeler really knuckles down consistency of effort wise.

Oh, I heard he was highly rated in 2020 but hadn't heard how he went last year, apart from being BOG in the u18 GF.

Looks like it will only be Michalanney suiting up. He sounds good enough (at this stage) to be given an opportunity.

D’Aloia isn’t part of our academy. But his early rankings are about where our pick is likely to be. So could be a good option for us.

D'Aloia isn't part of any of our Academies, however every kid in the AFL Academy gets to train with an AFL club (generally in their state).

Good prospect that could be around our first pick, but there are other quality mids (and a forward or two) around that mark too.

D'Aloia is just a train on player surely? Hes not actually a part of our academy.

Yes I know, I meant to right “isn’t “.

Yep well aware we may miss Keeler, he hasn't put it all together yet though so who knows.

With young Max now a father / son - worth noting that there’s another brother coming through. U16 this year so keep an eye on him
