Thought Parfitt was good. Usually think he's overrated but looked like he really wanted it.
He and Atkins were the only ones who kept that great pressure up from go to whoa actually.

I must have been watching from the same bay as Baudolino then cos from where I was sitting he was turgid.

I'm a bitter supporter at times and geez I'm gutted about tonight. I didn't want to have hope but I did and now it hurts.....but I hate seeing comments like "**** this club". I love this club. They hurt us because they give us hope. I've bagged Chris Scott over the years and maybe we should've done better but at least we've had hope. It hurts to lose when you have hope but this club has given us more than most.

The concussions may have influenced that.
Also, that kid Constable should not have been dropped IMHO.

Not sure Constable has a full AFL season in him playing big mid minutes. May next year though. But they should have brought him back in. Selection needs to show balls and have some faith in players instead of relying on ok players that won’t get it done when you need them to, eg. Touhy, Menegola and Henderson

pretty simple, really - richmond went up a level, and we couldnt match it.

no accusation at you personally, but often the thinking seems to be 'why didnt they turn up second half?', 'why didnt they stop tom lynch?', 'why didnt someone take prestia out of the game?'

sometimes teams beat you no matter what you try; sometimes good players play good games, and they cant be stopped.

that was richmonds 11th straight win... formidable team. tom lynch is also a formidable forward.

He made a couple of mistakes but way more than made up for it in saving tackles, smothers and spoils IMO.
Really had a 4quarter go. Not something I usually associate him with.
