Playing weak players like Parfitt, Blicavs and O'Connor, while playing a Frankenstein version of what Clarkson and Malthouse did half a decade or more ago is why we shit the bed. We have/had the cattle to win, but it's playing on the VFL. We will never win a flag under Scott.

Sometimes 1 player can make a huge difference, take Lynch out of the tigers side tonight and tell me who you think would win.
That's what we faced, except our second tall option wasn't a 4 time Coleman winner, it was a 21 year old with 25 games experience.

One thing I don't understand is why Blitz started on the wing again? With his mobility I would have thought he would been the perfect match up for Lynch, being as fit and mobile as Blitz is. Was it how we structured up because Hawkins was missing and we would have been to tall down back?

I am absolutely shattered. We gave it a genuine crack. That first half was as good as we have played in many many years. Would have blown away any other team in the comp, but sadly Richmond are just too damn good. Those bastards. We just couldn’t stop their run.

no, but i believe over 4 quarters usually the better team comes out on top. not always, but when richmond brought their best tonight, we couldnt match it.

I thought Stanley was worst on ground by a mile, and I am (was) a Stanley fan. Every kick or handball went to the opposition except one late in the game which we all cheered at. He might have done OK in the ruck but he was diabolical around the ground.
