That is not an upside in any shape or form.Well past looking for scapegoats. We had a crack and came up short.
The upside is I can watch the big dance next week while not giving a stuff who wins.
He has spent a large part of his short career playing in the midfield. I agree I would've rather had him back, as I would've last week too. But I think Duncan out, and then Hawkins, played a big part. Why move the All Australian fullback there, though? Blicavs is worse than useless forward of the backline. So, we lose twice.
How'd Daniel Rioli play? You know, his opponent.
I am worried this could knock the stuffing out of us mentally. Players stop listening to the coach. I remember the Saints players did that in 2011. 2010 was too much for them.We wont make the 8 next year

We will
That kicking down the line was exactly like the pies game. Was really hoping we'd have an answer after 3/4 time.Hawkins wasn't the difference. Our forward conversion in the first half was pretty good, and in the second half we couldn't even get it in there.
What happened is that Richmond stepped up a gear in the second half, put a whole lot more pressure on us, started to get on top in the stoppages (Selwood competed hard as usual, Danger went missing and no-one else did much), and shut down the short kick possession game that we executed so well in the first half.
Unfortunately, instead of working that much harder to continue to make space and provide targets, we reverted to that slow, defensive, kick long down the line style, which they picked off (because it's slow and predictable) and burned us back the other way.
As simple as that for mine.
We will
was a good effort for the first half
but as expected not good enough, just fell apart after half time
Miers very good
And then? Oh flop in September! Care factor zero right now for 2020!
Mentally weak , i think you are just mentalHe is mentally weak with zero game awareness. Your can't win finals with role players like him now. You need contributors who can read the play and know when to Take the game on. O'Connor can't do that.
Miers our new Stevie Johnson wannabe - a cynical player who can at times be very good.
I'm not sure he'll ever butter up again as he did in 2019, nonetheless he redeemed his own finals series when question marks were mounting.
Tonight was Gryan's ceiling in a nutshell imo.
Seeya Kelly, thanks for your effort, enjoy West Coast mate.
Mainly as a defensive mid or a second ruck. Def not an outside player. He has zero feel for it. He doesn't have a football background. So, he just stuffs up as a utility Mr fixit. He was doing great a FBHe has spent a large part of his short career playing in the midfield. I agree I would've rather had him back, as I would've last week too. Yes he destroyed possibly their most dangerous small forward. Good observation. That's not how modern football is played. O'Connor could beat his man, but if he's coughing the ball up, missing tackles and missing kicks it's irrelevant. He lacks the capacity to read the play and put himself in dangerous positions.

And with the exception of two games he was utterly sh** in the midfield back then. He is not good enough at afl level to play that position. He has spent a large part of his short career playing in the midfield. I agree I would've rather had him back, as I would've last week too. But I think Duncan out, and then Hawkins, played a big part.
