Would love to know what scores from centre bounces were because it sure as hell felt like the Eagles were dominant in there, mainly because heaps of their centre clearances seemed to be clean, offensive side of the stoppage clearances, whereas ours were more scrambled.

I find it a bit weird that a few of you are down on Rategolea (sp?). From an opposition point of view I felt he was in everything. Won a lot of contests and halved a few where I thought we were on. Wasnt horrible in the ruck either. The bad miss was the only thing I thought you could ping him for.

You're spot on. Just a few posters get frustrated but forget how young he is and how long it can take for big guys to come on, let alone big guys from non-footy background.

He had a few skill errors apart from the goal, but Ah Chee up the other end shows you can be good and still nearly miss it from dead in front. Shit happens.

Great game from the Eagles - was a lot closer than I thought it was going to be. Would have taken a 9 point loss any day of the week this week.

Esava deserves all the criticism being directed at him. A couple of awful errors that resulted in goals. Just doesn’t do enough. What about Blicavs (167 games), Kolodjashnij (99 games), Rohan (134 games) and Guthrie (170 games), though? They shit the bed every single time the pressure comes on. Every single time. Bews (91 games), is another although his problem is that he continues to be anonymous week in, week out.

Why rip into him for that when that's what he supposed to be.

We didn't draft him to be our next midfield leader.

We drafted him to be a solid contributor over a number of years which is exactly what he's been so far.

Yes he's inconsistent, no doubting that. But it's his 4th year.

So again, why are so many here putting the blowtorch continuously on a player for being exactly what we all expected him to be.

No one here when he was drafted thought he'd be our next midfield leader, so why are we surprised and ripping into him that he's only a bit part player in his 4th season?

He's exactly what we were all expecting him to be!!!!!

As he develops and removes the inconsistency from his game which comes from experience he will become the solid but not spectacular contributor we expected and the draft.
