Well Hawks members, I am sure you are very dissapointed that we will be losing Trent Croad, It has come to my knowledge that a man rang 3AW and told them that Hawks members will be holding a rally outside the club do show their disgrace at what the club has done to Trent Croad and to try and urge and extraordinary general meeting, anyone interested in showing the Hawks they have made a mistake? I'll be there!!

As disappointed as I am Rob, I think that is the wrong course of action.
I am writing the letter, and I am also phoning the club.
The decision cannot be reversed...he has walked now. I think the HFC football department would be feeling very sheepish at the moemnt, because even if they were just testing the market and were not going to trade him, they have lost the faith and confidence of an emerging star.
There is no need to hold a rally. I don't know how a few teenagers at a rally (and let's be honest, that's all that would turn up) is going to help the situation.
If you want to show your disappointment, ring the club and ask for Peter Schwab's email address, or write him a letter. Write Trent Croad a letter showing him your support. Call the club and let them know of your disappointment.
You will look like a dill if you protest outside Linda Cresent...you will block the busy traffic going down the road...

Why are we getting all worked up! NOTHING has been confirmed, Croad may stay, he might go, we may get draft picks, we may get players we may get a combination, lets just see where it all finishes and THEN get worked up .... i have faith in the current Hawk officials, in fact THEY SAVED MY CLUB FROM OBLIVION! So ill give them the benefit of the doubt 'till the dust settles
