When the DAK find a tweet they like they’ll spam the thread with it posting it over and over with each poster pretending they’re posting something new…
yeah gotta admit im not a fan of tweet spamming

Yep, pretty sure there's a platform that exists for following tweets. It's a shame because when a poster spams with too many tweets, they just become irrelevant after a while and they lose the impact of their messaging. I just scroll past certain user names now.

You're being very disingenuous

You post the video of someone being blocked from the rally without any context
Obviously there was something about the camera operator that illicited a response like that, either wearing or holding a deliberately provocative shirt/sign - hence why I asked who filmed

I'm willing to take your original answer of not knowing who filmed in good faith, but even then it begs the question why you posted it without context - it doesn't make sense to as it clearly required more information

Perhaps his skin colour?

You’re right, I should have been more detailed with context etc before linking it. That said, given we have super moderators hanging about gaslighting with every post and deliberately inferring, without justification, some sort of hidden messages with other posts I figure why should I do the work to be precise when the other side just post meaningless propaganda at will.

But yes, I’ll try to hold a better standard in future.

possibly the reason that a better standard is expected is generally you produce that standard (apart from the times where you are joking - and I find it difficult to tell when)

2nd biggest

Kennett is still around
At least Kennett has a sense of humour. Has anyone ever seen Dan display humour? The only time he smiles is when it is scripted by his minders

The left are distinguishable by their lack of humour.

making fun of someones speech pattern is classy

mirrors the alt right/far right attacks on joe bidens speech impairment during the last US fed election
You are so fake. It’s okay for you to mock LNP politicians, but you pretend to be offended when I mock Albo’s speech. There are some people who should not put themselves in the limelight, and Albo’s one of them. Do you not agree?

If Chant had made the decision unilaterally, there would be no way for the electorate to hold her accountable. The NSW Government, who the people of NSW elected, made the decisions and will be held accountable for them.

The fact that the decisions about who makes public health orders in Victoria is moving to the CHO to an elected member of parliament is a laudable aspect of the proposed pandemic bill IMO. Decision makers must be directly responsible and accountable to the electorate.

The issue isn't that in NSW the Minister was signing the orders, this was known, it was that they presented the front that it was all health advice

They didn't want to publicly say that they were tempering health advice with other advice they received.

The Vic Pandemic bill would in theory stop that from happening because they have to publicly release the health advice

If you're talking about health orders, that's at least an arguable case - arguable, but not very strong.
If you're talking about "government" decisions generally, you're half a century late, that horse bolted long ago.

After 7 days, not immediately. The government wanted 14 days. And you're right, it is in theory only.

thats why we need the bill being debated in parliament and amendments being sought

don't kill the bill, make it the right bill because its better than sticking with the status quo

It's also important that if they pass the bill even if its 7 days they have to act based on that info coming out in a week

currently they can stonewall and block most of it getting out, changes behvaiour when public scrutiny of actual decisions is guaranteed

is it all public health orders moving from CHO or only pandemic specific ones under the new bill? I thought that for localised issues (eg salmonella outbreak caused by contaminated product) it would stay with CHO (order temporary pull of product from shelf)

while pandemic with more widespread measures required where impacts cross into widespread economic and political, these are the ones going to elected parliment - statewide things like lockdowns, mask use, density limits

Actually, I agree with you which is saying something. In its current form the Bill is a disaster (which begs the question why the government rammed it through the Lower House), but it can be fixed.
