I got some excuses. Our midfield is MIA. Swan Sidey Varcoe out. Pendles playing down back. That is a lot of experience and skill gone. The replacements are not up to it so far.
It is what it is. Still positive about our list. Just have to find the right composition.

I agree,but unless I have overrated our boys,which I prob have because I spend an unhealthy amount of time following them,even with our outs,we surely are better then that?????
Trust me,it hurts me even slightly bagging them,I may not post alot,but I spend alot of time reading on here and I loath the negative Nancy's,( would say terminally miserable but apex might tell me off again).
Its a fault of mine,but I live and breath collingwood,and injuries,lack of personnel,don't explain what I saw today.

Overrated? In where our players are perhaps, not what they can be. We are better than today. And we should be better. Absolutely disgusted with our effort but throwing the toys out in a tantrum doesn't help either.
We matched it with the Doggies in Etihad. NAB cup yes I know but their game and pressure would be similar.
Something we did right then and we f*ed up today. Maybe Varcoe is more important to us than we want to admit.
We will see. Not the best start of the season so far bit there is time left, don't melt too soon.

One of those stupid 'You might also like' ads at the bottom of BF had a picture of two Scarlett Johanssons, suggesting that she is in fact a twin. Couldn't believe my luck, thought I was suddenly in with twice as much of a shot. Just googled it to discover that she in fact has a twin brother named Hunter. Well that's f****** great.

Totally agree again with your opening statement,I also believe we are better then what we showed today,but when will we show it.I didn't watch the bullies game but listened on radio,I took alot of positives from it but feared that not watchin it may have clouded said positivity,did bullies ease off after smashing us in first half for example????
Please don't mistake me for a poster that "throws the toys out of the cot",I was almost not gona post tonight coz didn't have anything positive to contribute.
Yes,still lots to play out this season,yes we'll get good players back from injury/suspension,but you must admit what we've dished up first 3rounds is Unacceptable!!!!

Good news is,some Asian guy recently spent 60-70k on building a robot replica of her,if all else fails,see if he's willing to rent her out "radio rentals" style

Soz didn't want to make the impression you were tossing toys out. All good. It is unacceptable indeed. But for now I am blaming players effort. Hardly any tackles from our fwd line. WTF? I can rant and rave about a lot of things from today but for me that stat is enough to know that any brilliant plan we had or might come up with, was bound to fail anyway. Hope Bucks will give them a good spray and a beach recovery session at 5:30 am .

PicaBoo, I also watched the Bullies game and even being NAB Cup, our third quarter was electric. Team full of the flu and 50pts down and we still win. We have it in us but something has to change to replicate that every week. Three games in and we haven't Ben anywhere near that level. Cats, Bullies and Kanga's, all despatched in the NAB Cup. Not to shabby. But if you are right and we depend on Varcoe that much, we better trade for or develop a couple more.

I just don't understand how our effort can be lacking.Yes,we're one of the youngest teams,but due to injuries in last couple yrs,alot of our young guys have been exposed to Afl footy.
With all the talk about our "New" improved culture,positivity about our preseason,our new recruits,so called destination club status,excitement about our future,after getting our season back on track last week,expected a more spirited effort today.
Loosing swan,Elliott,schazza,varcoe and now Ramsay is a killer I agree,pendles injured not ideal either, but like you said,we're better then that.
Maybe we went in with similar attitude to melb last week vs ess???
I just needed a vent coz I'm forever sticking up for us on here and to all my mate's.
For what it's worth,after few hours to get over it,and you hitting me up on my comments,making me verbalize my thoughts,I feel better and have regained some of my positivity,so thank you for that!!!!

I am not sure if I am right but I do see that the experienced spine of midfielders is just gone. Fwd line is inexperienced and/or out of form. Backline is forever searching for 2 players to claim a position there and add some stability. And then we wonder how things go pearshaped. Next week again 4 changes.
It is like the preseason. Endless variations of our best 30 ( best 35 by now). Good teams don't change that much.
