Coles voice & visuals have gone backwards. A grade to B grade maybe.
Listening to that, the guy sounds amatuerish & very "I'm reading from a script"

Still going to be a great game.

inFAMOUS 2 looks set to get a big Special Edition, called the 'Hero Edition'. No doubt to be announced at some time soon, but will include some cool things.

Also a potential release date given of May 24, earlier than I was expecting!

inFAMOUS 2 Hero Edition includes an 8.5" Cole MacGrath statue, Replica Cole MacGrath sling pack, Super voucher that gives access to in game content - Lightning Hook Power, Electrocution Grenade Power, Kessler Skin, 24K Gold Amp weapon variant, mini inFamous 1 comic from DC Comics, and the official inFamous 2 soundtrack.

All of that for $99US

They should've included the ability to play as old Cole, would've gotten more sales
There's not really much difference now though, since the re-imaging he's basically the same with some new clothes and a couple of tatts.

2 new trailers, showing off the Karma routes that you take this time, offering a FAR bigger gameplay hit than in inFAMOUS. Evil/inFAMOUS option looks absolutely epic.

Hmm, So $98 here :D NOT...

Not real fussed when this drops as AFL 11 could likely take me through to Uncharted3 if need be but I'll pick it up for sure.
Ill likely finish off my hard playthrough on inFAMOUS1 for platinum as a lead up to this.

Good prediction.:thumbsu:
‘Original Cole’ skin
I'm liking the bag in the Hero edition. Might be tempted based on price. Anymore than 130-140 and I'll probably pass.
I'm definitely digging the Hero Edition. But **** me there's too many of these things coming out.

Not only do we already have just a ridiculous amount of quality titles, but they're all getting awesome sauce special editions.

For me Duke Nukem's was a no brainer as it's the best special edition I've ever seen (and the 100 page book documenting the history of the game is worth it alone).

Then there's the Killzone 3 Helghast Edition, Dead Space 2's Collector's Edition (which I got) and now inFAMOUS 2's Hero Edition. All with their own collectible items (which I am definitely liking the actual items rather than the raft of DLC).

I'm passing on KZ3's and going with the limited edition mainly for the 2 maps.

The special edition of inFAMOUS 2 is really a bit meh tbh. But the Hero Edition with the Sly Cooper marked bag along with the sweet Cole figurine is very tempting. Might have to look online again as I can't afford every ****ing thing...especially knowing the most epic will be coming later in the year with Uncharted 3, cannot wait to see what they think up for that (and I will 100% be getting the most expensive version:p).

I cant see it being under $200 in AUS myself, you only need to look at KZ3 (Helghast Edition USA $160 ish delivered AUS $250 ish)

Have finally got around to playing the original and am loving it

this is now a definite buy
Infamous was GOTY in my book, it's the first game i can think of that i have ever finished twice, absolutely loved it.

New trailer

Wow, the voice actor has improved exponentially from past vids. Sounds similar to inFAMOUS 1 Cole but not as cliche gravelly. Very good stuff.

Trailer was good as always is with Sucker Punch, liked some of the visuals, the ice spikes and the flags on fire.

Infamous was great but the whole evil cole/good cole stuff felt forced and it didn't feel like it made a difference. Being evil didn't go against the story as much as Red Dead Redemption did but modern western RPGs have done the whole morality choice thing so much better.

agree about the good v evil in #1 but in infamous 2 the good v evil path is significantly revamped and the story missions actually play out differently with different mission type and cutscenes.

there's a vid out there somewhere showing the diff between choices.
if the game is REALLY good i may play it through as both simply because it looks like a total different experience from the choices you make.

Sucker Punch goes the LBP route and introduces a brand new 'Mission Creator' to inFAMOUS 2. Sounds very interesting. Also a beta coming in April.

If you thought the original Infamous ran out of missions too quickly, developer Sucker Punch has you covered. Infamous 2 is going to let you create your own missions.

Today at GDC, Sony unveiled a brand new system in the sequel that allows players to place enemies, objects and more to create your very own challenges that pop up in New Marais. You can come up with stories, limit it to races, and even assign XP to completing a quest. A trailer listed a variety of missions (Defense, Escort, Search and Destroy, Survival, Shooting Gallery, Platforming, and Obstacle Course), but Sucker Punch said that the possibilities are endless and users can create whatever they want.

Once the creation is whipped up and uploaded, it's shared with the world.

If you're eager to get in on the creating action, a beta is scheduled for early April.
