Is this for real? In a truly national competition, are we accepting this as a legitimate reason for walking out on a club willing to pay him $500k+ per season after only two years? To me this highlights the need for either a longer rookie contract or compensation for first round picks recruited from interstate. How ridiculous. At least Blighty knows it is nonsense.

He fulfilled his contract and he would of been part of a premiership team if his team mates had any heart GF day. I don’t see a problem. Hope he goes to another level this year.

I didn’t see any bothered Crows posters when their club leveraged the go home factor, with Sam Jacobs threatening to walk to the PSD unless Carlton accept the Crows’ lowball offer. At least the Crows got a healthy return from both player and trade.

Carlton seem to like giving us quality players. You did pay us one back with Menzel though.

Lever and his management are just playing the PR game. If he comes out and admits "I took the cash" it will only make him look like an arseh*le.
